On To My Beloved Thief Mar 23, 2026
I finished with that feeling of “this could have been amazing… but it fell short.”

The premise is great — a thief female lead living a double life, with a romance built on secrets. But the drama seems afraid to fully explore the darker side of that concept. Many times, it softens the consequences of her actions, almost like it’s trying to play it safe instead of going deeper.

The female lead is interesting, but also inconsistent. In some episodes she’s smart and strategic, and in others she makes questionable decisions just to move the plot forward. That really broke the immersion for me.

As for the romance: yes, there’s chemistry, but it relies too much on misunderstandings and lack of communication. At some point, it just feels like everything could’ve been solved with a simple conversation. And when the truth is finally revealed, the emotional payoff isn’t as strong as it should be — it lacks proper buildup.

The pacing is another issue. It starts off engaging, slows down in the middle with some dragging episodes, and only picks up again near the end.

Overall, it’s a decent watch with a promising concept and good character potential, but it plays things too safe instead of taking risks. Worth watching? Yes — but keep your expectations in check.

For me, it was entertaining, but ultimately forgettable 👀
