Just finished "It's Ok That's Love" and couldn't stop myself from comparing it to IOTNBO..as both dramas deal with mental health issues. I must say It's Okay That's Love wins if the subject of mental health is considered.
IOTNBO has better looking actors..nice cinematography and nice OSTs. But they deviated largely from the main story of mental health issues. The portrayal was not upto the mark. It was more dramatic and less closer to reality. :(
It was quite predictable that the head nurse would turn out to be MY's mom.They tried to create the suspense..but they casted such a famous actress for the head nurse's simple role that made me think...no she wouldn't be here to just play the head nurse's role. For me this drama was a little slow and I got really impatient at times. Some episodes were good and others were below average. Huge shoutout to Sang tae and Juri's mom . It was a good drama .
No. I don't think it has Reply 1988 vibes at all. Apart from the fact that the leads are childhood friends.. nothing is similar. If you are looking for a drama that actually gives the Reply 1988 vibes ..you can watch "Lovely Us". It is a 16 episode Chinese drama and hence not draggy at all which is rare for a Chinese drama. It was so funny at times.And the OSTs are awesome.
Completed.This is probably the best Chinese youth drama I have ever watched. Reminded me so much of Reply 1988. This needs a season 2. I laughed so much.. throughout the drama. Will miss them.
I was patiently waiting for IOTNBO to end so that I could binge-watch. Now finally...I can. :) While waiting for this..I had nothing to watch. I found this Chinese drama called "Lovely us". Not many people know about it. But it's such a joyride and an underrated gem. If you are a fan of Reply series..you will love it. I am recommending this to everyone ..lol !

Yes..but still we can't really tell if they are the same 2k people who are complaining now. Most of the people who made those 2k comments also wanted to drop the drama.

A lot of people also had no problem with the kissing scene in EPI 1. May be they are the ones complaining now that there are no kissing scenes. You can't really tell who exactly is complaining.
Girls' Generation 1979 is really good.After finishing Reply 1988.. I was looking for a drama that gave retro vibes…
Also I am currently watching the Chinese drama "Lovely us". Had little expectations..but to my surprise it is good and very underrated. The premise is really similar to Reply 1988 (my favourite K- drama).
