EXO's SUHO and KJH are very close friends. He was worried over KJH's mental health and checked on him regularly. He watched CLOY to give him feedback and travelled to Paris with him on his birthday last year. It's funny how he had to help his friend recover because the fans of an idol group from his agency viciously bullied him. I bet he was not very happy about that. ¬¬
Why? Do you dislike him because of the press conference issue? But it is undeniable that Kim Jung Hyun is a good…
Exactly. She was 100% clear when she said that there was no issue between them and even said that she was sorry the drama hadn't had more romance. I'm still furious when I remember he ended up wanting to die because of the bullying.
He's a really nice guy. He's still in contact with Sejeong and Ji Hye because they like him. Ji Hye invited him to cameo on her show and to an art exhibition. In Sun (from Waikiki) praised him for being extremely respectful when she worked with him. His Waikiki co-workers said that he's always trying to help others and the actress who played his sister said that working with him gave her peace of mind because he has "kind eyes". How can these people hurt a person the way they did with him and not feel bad? Ugh.
His agency announced this year they will be suing malicious commenters.

Right? As if writing "go kill yourself" "you're a nobody whose career is over" and constantly bullying him on his agency's Instagram account hadn't been far worse than what he did to their idol (or what he didn't do...). That fandom was the main reason he had to go on hiatus because they tried to ruin his career and dragged him until a doctor had to order him to drop out of the drama.
Yep, both KJH and SHS are getting equally praised for their roles. I don't see why some people are assuming that…
No. Not the same agency. They became close during the filming of the drama. SHS joins his Instagram live from time to time and the 2 made Instagram accounts for their characters, so they tease each other while playing their characters on Instagram. She's even posted pictures with him too.

Yeah. Both Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun (I love KJH since Jealousy Incarnate - he was a supporting role there -because I was impressed by his screen presence from the get go) are my favourite actors. I 'm beyond happy now they are working together because I knew they could work magic if they were cast together.
They are close in real life too, so it's a pleasure to see their chemistry on and off screen. I find it genuinely sad that some people seem to have turned this into a competition, and choose to completely disregard KJH's work. He's outstanding as the king. His character trended #1 during the premiere. Shin Hye Sun trended too, so the 2 are doing amazingly well and have completely blown the audience away with their acting skills. Those comments are just gonna create unnecessary conflict.

The king is super difficult to play that's why there are articles praising his acting left and right. I find it funny because many people seem to have forgotten that KJH is the same actor who singlehandedly knocked HB & SYJ (and the super powerful Dooly couple) from the search rankings the day of their drama's finale. Let's not forget his character trended #1 and #2 during the regular run and continued trending for a whole day. He was on screen... what? 5 minutes per episode, and knets were infuriated with the writer for what had happened with his Gu Seungjun. That's why he was offered this role. He has the power to make the viewers get fully immersed when he's on screen. That's something only an actor like him can accomplish.
This drama itself is very interesting. Not just Bong Hwan and his comedic scenes, the king's story is solid too.…
Yep, both KJH and SHS are getting equally praised for their roles. I don't see why some people are assuming that SHS is hard-carrying the show, because she's not. I love her a lot but I couldn't finish her drama with L because it bored me to tears. If KJH and the rest of the cast weren't doing their job perfectly well, these ratings wouldn't have been achieved.
The comments are mostly "the two of them have crazy chemistry" and "the two of them have crazy acting skills"
LOL. Right now KJH is trending number 1 on Naver's entertainment section.
Yes it was obvious kdramas dont prefer the BL route. I am more interested in how it works... 2 souls in a body.…
Yes. I watched that drama too. There were 2 female souls within one body. The owner of the body wasn't in love with the king, and the second soul fell for him. Here it's different because, if you read the character descriptions, it says that the original soul (Soyong) fell in love with Cheoljong at first sight, but for some reason, he's never returned those feelings. I think that Cheoljong doesn't like SY because he thinks she's not trustworthy. He probably believes she's trying to manipulate him like everyone else in the palace. That's why he ignores her and treats her coldly. The male soul (Bonghwan) is just one part of the character, but Soyong will probably be just as important and, IMHO, Cheoljong will fall in love with her, not the chef. That's what I think, though. It could go either way.
Btw, Queen Soyong is definitely inside her body. There are 2 souls within the same body because during the wedding Bonghwan started thinking of Cheoljong and those were Soyong's memories. She's in love with Cheoljong and this is the OTP. I wouldn't have cared if they had gone the BL route, but it's obvious to me that CJ will end up with SY (even though he currently doesn't trust her or like her) and the romantic moments will be between SY & CJ.
Shin Hye Sun, Kim Jung Hyun, and even Choi Jinhyuk have trended on Naver throughout the day. The drama was #1 trending topic on Naver both during the regular run and the re-run. Cheoljong was also #1 for several hours.
This drama's real time ratings (8.5 to 9.5) suggest that the AGB ratings may be around 6% to 7.5% (UPDATE: WOW! It was even higher: 8% nationwide *claps*)
It's a very fun drama and the reviews are mostly positive. Quite promising start and I'm really happy for all the cast. Well deserved.
I also think so. Because Romance would not take place between Jang Bong Hwan and King, it is not a BL drama (…
Why would they give SY feelings for CJ if it wasn't relevant to the story? In the character descriptions it says that SY and BH have a special relationship because they 'share' a body. That means she's still in that body. Apart from that SHS and KJH talked about SY as if she were an integral part of the story, not a one episode appearance. I think the romance will take place when SY's soul appears and BH & CJ will develop a comradeship in between.
After reading the characters descriptions I'm starting to think that we'll see the original Soyong a lot. She's a woman who's always dreamt of becoming the queen partly because she's secretly in love with Cheoljong (who is faking affection for her because he suspects she's with the enemy). I think that's gonna be the romance we'll see in the drama. The chef is probably gonna be only a part of her character. He might be disappearing when Soyong takes over and viceversa..
Kim Jung Hyun and Shin Hye Sun are BOTH brilliant at acting. The SK media is promoting this drama as an "acting explosion" or "the meeting of acting genius ", so let's enjoy this epic combination instead of complaining about one lead or the other.
BTW, "No Touch Princess" will have 20 episodes. It will air from December, 12th to February, 14th. Vincenzo (the drama after NTP) starts airing on February, 21st.
