As someone who identifies as asexual/demisexual, I literally SQUEALED with joy when I read the premise. I don't think I've ever seen a drama with any ace representation either as a minor part of the drama or in the main plot so I am suuuuper excited for this!!!!

Btw is yeo jin goo's acting bad in HOTEL DEL LUNA???
Now that I think about it you're probably right, his character was lacklustre because of the writing and the drama plot could've been better but it's an enjoyable drama if you like light hearted fantasy romance. I watched hotel del luna and i honestly can't remember what happened to the main leads but i loved all the side plots and characters honestly

I watched Yeo Jin Goo's acting in romance dramas and absolutely HATED it because I felt a lack of conviction in his acting so when I came across this show I was like nah, no way and I completely dismissed it when it was airing, but i'm ready to join the circus as a full-time clown now after binging this in 2 days. I couldn't have been more wrong, Yeo jin goos acting shines so brightly in this thriller drama I was so impressed I can't even imagine him in a romance role anymore. All the acting from the minor characters to the major roles was SO spot on I can see why this won awards honestly. This TV show is a testament to when good writing, acting, producing and storytelling combine to form a very rare 10/10 gem of a show. Lee Dong Shik is going down in history as one of my favourite male leads. For those of you apprehensive about watching this I highly recommend, I had no idea what was going to happen next the ENTIRE time and I loved it.

The done is quite dark with many dead people already. Maybe there will be no happy ending?
If this becomes another scarlet heart I'll need a therapist

I'm really enjoying this series so far but with 20 episodes if they're gunning for a happy ending I'm wondering how tf they'll manage it, I really hope the writers don't leave any loose ends. The start of this drama and the switching roles was really interesting but what happens when the secrets out?

Man I don't see a lot of people talking about the OST for this drama, it was one of the highlights for me. As someone who notices bgm a lot while watching film/tv shows I think they did a great job setting the mood and adding more intensity to the fight scenes. I really loved the sound design for this drama! Shadow and Port City are my 2 favourite tracks from the drama's BGM

I cried SO hard watching episodes 4,5 and 8, I'm so dry i probably look like a raisin but it was all worth it. The acting and the story in this drama are so good, especially the finale. This drama isn't just about death it's about our entire life's journey and the imprint we leave when we're gone. It's a healing drama and totally worth watching.

This is by far my favourite asadora of all time. It's exactly my vibe, combining the beauty of the seaside and the natural landscape of the mountains, it wills like a warm hug it's so cathartic. As someone who graduates university this year i found myself relating so much to Mone who had no ambition or motivation, she reminds me of myself 4 years ago. Seeing her journey from being lost to collecting pieces of joy that eventually become her motivation and dream really moved me. It's so refreshing and exactly what i needed during a pandemic 11/10, I love absolutely everything about this

If you enjoy character development and plot i highly recommend but if you only watch dramas for the romance this isn't for you. The OST is fantastic though. The ending is also slightly open so if that isn't your vibe i wouldn't recommend it but i loved this drama

You know i found it really weird the camera style of this drama is so jerky, most dramas have perfectly still cameras but with this drama you get those quick movements or pans to close up shots and I was wondering why they made that decision because it's so noticeable and then I realised that it's on purpose bc they're filming it LIKE a documentary. I'm so impressed with the little details, well done to the directors and the camera men

i like how both seasons end with shi mok smiling, really nice touch with the subtle nuances in season 2 that tie it back to season 1.

Eun jung's character arc is what makes this drama so special for me, she made me cry from episode 1-16. I really loved watching her growth it was so healing to see her go through all the stages of grief. The writer did a really good job at highlighting the charms of each of the characters and how they're all cute in their own way. Although i do wish they focused on Hyo bong more, he was just as important.

This could've been such a great drama if it wasn't for the ending. The first half was really good but i was disappointed by the second half, especially the last 2 episodes because it had the potential to be such a good drama. Even though it wasn't as good as it could have been i don't regret watching it. I loved the personalities of all the characters and the 2 leads were so nice. This drama is also a really good example of how well planned background music can really enhance the mood of a scene.

I'm not sure why people hated the ending because i thought it was perfect. The drama was a realistic glimpse into the lives of high school students and honestly, it felt real. Each of the characters had their own personalities that were fleshed out and each of their feelings were explored. What i like most is that none of them were perfect. Instead of having a forced relationship at the end i like how it showed each of them growing. Parang is finally alone and is dealing with the world, Sieon opens up about his feelings and finally leans on someone and siwon realises that her feelings were incorrect. Instead of ending it with a relationship, they resolved all the emotional issues and i really respect that.

I don't usually write comments but the only word i can use to describe this drama is "masterpiece". Maybe it's because i watched unsung cinderella before this but the FL had the opposite personality to what i expected and it was so refreshing. They really covered a range of hard hitting topics in a way that was so sensitive and healing, showing all sides of a story. I adore this drama so much, i think it's one of my favourite japanese dramas

I think out of all the dramas i've ever watched, mr. sunshine is the only 10/10 i can think of. Everything from the production to the story to the acting and even the OST was on point. I've never watched a drama that wasn't lacking in any way and i related to all the events because my family fought for freedom in our home country too. I don't think i'll ever watch a drama that moved me the way mr. sunshine did.

i pushed through the third charm even though i should've dropped it, biggest waste of my time. i've never wanted to fight a writer for a kdrama more, it was so frustrating to watch.
