Title Castaway Diva Spoiler
I'm sorry but Woohak annoyed me in this episode. He's so reckless! I know he's dying to know if he's Kiho or not…
He knew from the schedule at the office that his father wouldn't be at home. It's why he got his schedule in the first place, to know where he would be and when.

By now, I honestly don't care all that much about who Ki Ho is, if Bo Geol or Woo Hak or some third party because I'm intrigued by Woo Hak's character "as is". His memory loss, his compulsion to mimic the way his brother dresses, his separation anxiety, his relationship with Bo Geol that's all about push and pull but also so much love... And Cha Hakyeon is absolutely mesmerizing here!

Title A Good Day to Be a Dog Spoiler
After finishing the webtoon, I'm glad that it seems like the drama might be giving the story its own twist because the webtoon just didn't do it for me. At the end, I thought to myself, that's it? Every issue stemmed from the "villain" acting recklessly and without thinking? And the final one, stemming from lifting the curse, was basically just him throwing a temper tantrum because there was no one left to punish so he chose the leads and let them suffer just because? Seriously? Eh. I hope the writers only keep the bare bones of the story and do their own thing with the details.

I hope that this movie will be just as good as the first one, Conjuring Curse. Because the first one was a real threat for the Iron Triangle fans since unlike other installments of DMBJ - I'm looking at you, The Sound of the Providence, in particular - Wu Xie, Pangzi and Xiao Ge spent the whole movie adventuring together. It was pure fun! Hopefully, the sequel will be just as good!

wtf?? now that is a plot twist!! I didn't expect hisami to be the one who did it like at all!but the reason is…
I'm still waiting for the last two eps to be subbed so I have no idea what's said in them but... Hisame really is in love with Tori, isn't he? It's not just my seeing things? I mean, I get that it's not stated out loud but... if it's not true then someone should've told Nishihata Daigo because his Hisame wears his heart on his sleeve.
On Knockin' on Locked Door Oct 13, 2023
So, basically, this is Sherlock Holmes, right? Tori is Holmes, the observant one, for whom crimes are fun. Mikage is Moriarity, seeking the thrill of murder and serving Tori in particular with crimes since they are two sides of the same coin, doing and solving crime for fun. Hisame is Watson, the one seeing the human side of things and keeping Tori from slipping into crime like Mikage had. And Ugachi is Lestrade, the kick-butt one.

Super surprised how they're walking on the line. I thought they would walk the bromance way, but they're going…
Ugachi really was the only sane person present at all times, wasn't she?

Title Bengoshi Sodom Spoiler
It was a really good series. And the soundtrack was absolutely breathtaking! But...
That Wataru's team broke up in the end, that they went their separate ways and we never found out what happened to Kai and the others, that made me really, really sad :(
On Bengoshi Sodom Oct 8, 2023
This reminds me so much of Mad Dog! The found family trope - seriously, Wataru is collecting them like strays, it's cute! - Wataru willing to set himself on fire to let the main baddie burn... It's so good!

Title Whisper of the Heart Spoiler
This was definitely not my cuppa.
Shizuku, as a kid, was fun and spunky. As an adult, she was a wishy-washy doormat that got on my last nerve. She was an empty vessel. No thoughts of her own. No wonder her stories didn't take. The last straw for me was when she ran away from Italy without even trying to fight for Seiji, without even talking to him. And I was meant to believe in some epic love between them? This was bad writing all along. Again and again we were TOLD stuff instead of being SHOWN.

To me it feels like people are, for some unfathomable reason, intentionally down-voting jdramas here. They have, in general, much lower ratings than other dramas. Is it because they are not readily available? Is it out of spite because in 9 cases out of 10, they are not available to non-Japanese audience? Who knows Β―\_(ツ)_/Β― And people who decide what to watch based on opinions of others? I will never understand them. Brain not working well enough for them to make up their own opinion?
