I feel like su nian Qin could have been more mature. Your girlfriend tells you her dad is sick and your like let's…
he didn't say he wanted to break up, it was Wu Yan that brought it up because she thinks he didn't appreciated her and he made her think that she is making up excuses to break up since her parents doesn't approve of their relationship.
I had a theory that he was doing that whole routine for her, not so much for himself. Just hat she didn't notice…
so if he wasn't doing it for himself then whey would the Xiao Lu say that he is? Of course it could be her just guessing as well. But she did indicate that he does have low self esteem while he was growing up too and the fact that once the pregnancy was announced he stopped doing it. ugh, wish they had explained this better .. sheesh I think Cheng Yin saying good bye was really Wu Yan really letting go of her as she knows she has to concentrate on the baby.
you should watch the episodes on dramacool, the subtitles are correct there. She is an entertainment reporter…
so that was what was being shown in the first 10 mins of the first episode. I was super confused and had to watch it like 3 times and that first episode was a lot to get through before the story finally got interesting.
enjoyed the drama, BUT...... So did anyone get goosebumps when they found out that Cheng Yin was dead and Wu Yan has made her up to cope with her loneliness and depression? Also what's up with that tangent? It could have been a great few episodes exploring the human psyche especially since Wu Yan studied Psychology. Speaking of psychology, why did she not realize what Nian Qin was doing with all the home coming rituals. Also that last episode was just a jumble of loose ends, unnecessary scene of Nian Qin's stage name being exposed, Cheng Yin leaving and saying good bye, and what is up with Wu Yan having cramps as if she was loosing the baby.
-Why am I crying in most of Tian Yong and Shao Xue's scenes? Shao Xue character grew on me, she was so bratty in the beginning but her interactions with Tian Yong had me like her more and how innocent her love was towards him. I think they should have a better ending. -Unfortunately I understand Migu's character and her love towards Zhuo Ran, she represents anyone who is blinded by love and can't let go, won't admit that she chose the wrong person to fall in love with so she chose to justify or make excuses for him, will do stupid things and will always be on call whenever he gives her a little attention. It is human nature and I cringe every time they come on screen.
why did the writer put in that plot twist about the grandfather whom might have been the one that killed the mother and forcing the FL to break up with ML and then just like nothing happened they got back together because oh it wasn't his fault? SMH that plot twist should never have been in it, felt like they just threw that in it so there will be a break up scene.
I seriously thought he died and that was why she was so upset. Then I found out he was alive and I was like what…
So that's what happened with the ex. I guess they hinted at it but didn't really go in depth of what actually occurred. Even so, she shouldn't have let this one person ruin her dream and the years of her life. At most she should be more or less be angry and want to seek revenge instead of being all sad and pitiful about it.
the biggest pet peeve in this drama for me was Shan Shan and how she let her ex ruined her life and dreams for how many years just because they broke up. why was she letting that jerk control her existence? i understand that no break up is easy and you have moment of anger and sadness but this went on for years. how stupid is that?
Pros: excellent and beautiful CGI, the sets and the colors they used, you don't see these color combos in other dramas. good acting, I cried when it was sad or heart warming scene. great costumes and love the headdresses on the women Cons: a lot of the story arc didn't get resolved or was told. could have told the story in about 24-30 episodes. it didn't need to be 40 episodes with 5 different story arc that goes unresolved. first half was about Ling Long great because the title is about her but last 15 episodes focused more on the side characters and the father and the plot that takes too convoluted even to the writers to resolved.
she has a hint of a romance with Yuen Yi but if you're wanting kissing scenes, there aren't none. there are other romantic flirtations with other couplings as well.
only on ep 6 but I need for them to do more seasons with different actors. so many actors come to my mind that I want them to be paired off in this show if not in a real drama. *sigh*
I like this drama for the fact that it showcase the 3 different couples and each of these couples, the women were the initiator but not in an annoying or scheming way.
I finally realize why I had this drama on hold for a long time and then started back up again, it was because of the annoying way the ML character talks. OMG it just sounds slippery and slimy. Also the make up in this drama is not that great. I cringe at all the close ups.. LOL
Can someone enlighten me on why does ML's roommates thinks that he likes FL in the first place when he made no indication of it whatsoever. These roommates always try to poke at the fact that FL is spending time with SML or that she'll fall for SML or something? They keep CP-ing them together. .. totally confused.
