Recycled set: 1) FL friend's apartment is also from Well Intended Love 2 2) the noodle shop that Ml & FL went to in earlier episodes is also in Count Your Lucky Star.
I'm on ep 6 and I find that a lot of the characters are annoying already and I don't know if I want to continue. Grandmother makes me want to strangle her.. lol Ye Yi Yuen is such a brat so is the girl he's paired up with .
I haven't watched Taiwanese dramas often since I think a lot of the actors over act or the story line is too overly dramatic when it doesn't need to be but this show was one of the best ones I've seen. The actors were great even though there were some overly dramatic acting but the story was what grabbed me. 1) comparing the 2 dramas one was The Romance of Tiger & Rose, same concept but I believe this one was done better. Definitely the ending few episodes ties up loose ends better and way more satisfying. 2)There some actual adult kissing involved than just mushing of lips. 3) Definitely has lots of eye candies in this one. 2 THUMBS UP
It’s episode 31 for the ML to find out, so the romance is really short. The 2nd ML finds out earlier in ep.…
He found out way ahead of the other 2, like in the 10th episode or something where he suspected rather than a confirm knowledge but either way he know's Wen Bin is not a boy. He keeps hinting at or pointing out that he makes a pretty girl to the other 2.
Darrent Chen is a definite eye candy in this one and not as soft as his previous roles. I will take it. Also Sebrina Chen looks cuter with a short hair than long, I'd vote for a pixie hair cut for her. Despite being over the top cheesy and full of all the tropes you can think of but the story was still enjoyable. Not many angst in this one.
This drama is the most unconflicted drama I've ever encountered/watched which makes it seems a bit rushed at times. I actually think this drama can stretch it out to the usual 24 episodes instead of 16. A lot of the plots needed to be fleshed out a bit. Overall enjoyable quick drama that doesn't give you anxiety about the character & plot development.
1) the 2 fashion designers (ML & FL) why did the production team gave them the blandest and the most boring outfits to wear? Granted ok FL is just starting out and may not have much $ to spend on clothes but she can sure make her own or accessorize. But ML was an established editor and an eye for designs, Why was he only in like 3 suit rotation with the weird sweatshirt as a casual attire? Why did everyone else has more wardrobe & costume than those 2? 2) Jerry Yan's acting was a little off for me. His soft spoken voice and his persona in the beginning of the show did not go together. He's supposed to be a hard edge with a sharp tongue editor but he speaks super soft. 3) I watched this as it aired so it was not really binge watching like I would normally do with other shows so I think that helped with the fact that if I had binged watch not sure if i could have finished it.
I’m not the type of person to skip episodes or fast forward. But if you must FF or skip, then skip the ones with the FL’s relatives. They are the most annoying and aggravating people on earth.
Surprisingly that the rich people's family (grandm, aunt & cousin) aren't annoying or bad / against the couple. This is a usual trope in Cdramas. Also no real annoying characters just annoying moments.
Finally finished this drama after pushing through some draggy parts and half of the characters in it are super annoying. No one really communicates in this drama. SMH.
Ok what am I about to write might not be liked by many but no offence just stating my pov. This is a really good…
agreed. Felt we need a few more episodes to at least give closure to the 2 best friends and / or give us like fast forward to 5 years to give us the summary of what happened at least.

Also - very enjoyable drama it could have kept going without it being tiresome.
