I already explained my position in a lot comments above may be you can read some to understand why for objetive purposes it's overrated not just for my opinion. It's up to you. :)

And i believe in you i just don't understand why. Like i told my impression is that in any way this drama is overrated. May be because i'm not familiarized with Wuxia style i don't know but to me except for the story nothing about this drama impress me. If we are talking of a book it ll have 10/10 but we are talking about an audio-visual production so the audio and the visual matters even if the producers try to make it's beautiful, and in some cases they did it, we have a lot of others scenes that clearly make you see that the productions was made in any way, in some cases the actors expression don't match with the scene and some others points that make me do not like this production. Like i told may be it was because my inexperience with the prostitution's style or it's just not for me.

I already watched some Chinese dramas may be my bad feeling is about the Wuxia style because i loved some Chinese dramas. Really don't know.

You have a lot of situations when you can see objectively the bad production but one is memorable is when Jiang Cheng's mother hit Wei, ep 15 minute 22, and the scene changes the angle to show Wei falling in the bench. You can see clearly that the bench is complete destroyed even if the actor only touch him with his hands and you cant say that is my opinion of bad production it's a signal that the production was done anyway.

The function of art is make people feel something, i judge based on what I felt about the work and unfortunately The Untamed don't bring me nothing special and even the production isn't s good and it's a objective thing not's my opinion the CG for 2020 are really gross and the foam when thing break you can see it. In the ep 49 or 50 don't remember when the temple collapses you can see the pilasters bouncing in the ground.
So if it's not give me a good feeling and even isn't a good production what can i say. By the other side love 020 or heirs gave me what i was looking for it's simple.

When something is broken you cant see the foam in those 2.

I don't know why this is so overrated i really think this production is't so good in any sense. Bad acting, bad filming, bad edition, the only thing i really liked is the story but even this could be made in half of time 50 episodes is toooooo muchhh

EDIT: Probability it ll become a religion they have 3-4 fanatics at this moment and it's growing.

It's really a good drama that talk about an important thing and i enjoyed the acting and story in general but it's don't correspond with my expectations, i don't know if it's because the fast change in the easy rom-com to a melodrama or just i wasn't in the mood but i think that what made me do not fully enjoy was the impression that it was going to be something and ended being something completely different. I do recommend watching but only if you are wanting a melodramatic story not a rom-com.

Really isn't perfect but to be honest i think is almost impossible do something perfect so if the content that I'm consuming fill some requerimentos it's a 10/10 to me. Some ppls need a great cast and a huge history with perfect continuity but some just wand what this show delivery.
Think this way, you probably aren't a 10/10 ppl for everyone but for some people you are :)

She is in this way most because Ms. Wang death. Although that i agree that she an asshole you have to considerate that she is a minor and in that age, specially on her mental condition, people don't think a lot in theirs decisions

Dude, everyone ll die in the end! E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E so don't pay too much attention in this details and just enjoy the travel :P

I don't remember exactly what is ep. 07 but i think i the ep. when they try to make her escape from north korea using a boat from another country.
