I've been updated with every single Bai lu and luoyunxi stuff . Their dramas or their offcam interactions . I never compare cps . I like both pairs but it's just my opinion and i like this pair on screen since their characters are very understanding of each other. I love both pairs in general tbh . In fact i love BL and LYX as best friends .
The FL just didn't randomly ride the horse right away , atleast she did remember the instructions GJS gave and then started . Even though we don't know where exactly she picked the fire cracker from she did use it to blind the soldiers for a min ,just enough to save her husband . Also she was coming from another side and by the time the soldiers could shoot their arrows they were blinded by the smoke . Of course they could've shot later on but I guess that could be considered a small plot hole since the rest of the story has been consistent so far .
I haven't seen a more comfortable couple on screen . They proved that didn't have to say the three words to love and protect each other . The way GJS kept touching her in the most warm way ,hugging her ,holding her hand and she also responding to it in the most natural way possible, were the sweetest and most warm gestures I've ever seen between a couple in a Chinese period drama in a long time .

It's not about taking the money ,it's about her pride . She didn't want to feel poor by accepting money from a guy she's never met before ,that too in the middle of the street with tons of people watching them . Hence the only thing she could desperately get back was the cloak and of course she was going to return back the money he paid for it .
I think the costume designer is the same as the one for love between fairy and devil. Not sure but the green and red combo strongly reminded me of LBFAD but i love the design and detail over here more than LBFAD. Maybe it's because the wedding scene is executed well here with the finest precision of details .
