You're right ..what i meant was ,during the happy times they ended up being each other's support and i felt pillar would be the closest word for it but like u said it actually means more than that and they couldn't be that to each other during the bad times .

Being too perfect for each other can sometimes be dangerous too and can affect a relationship... probably that's what the writer wanted to convey or maybe she herself was jealous of NH and YJ being perfect for each other that she didn't want them to be together 😢😭..god knows what the writer was thinking .now that the writer has done her job ,I'm just going to write my own ending like MC writing her own story .

Now that i think about it , you're right except the fact that they're actually pillars for each other but only during the happy times as shown in ep 16..but they could've taken their time off and made it work in 2008/2009 instead of completely separating from each other by not even being mere friends .

You're right in that aspect...they weren't just lovers ,they were best friends..when HD kept in touch with the rest in 2009 why not with BYJ too as friends!!why not after that as well. well...we don't know whether she kept in touch with the rest of them as well because none of it was justified in the present but still ,they could've answered it wrt present YJ and HD

I don't think BYJ isn't a type who would get drunk and make a woman pregnant, esp heedo. His character wasn't written that way . Even if they did it ,he'd take responsibility for it. ep 16 made him dirty but changing his character 180* but that doesn't mean he's like that. So either he knows she's pregnant and takes responsibility or does not know and heedo hides it from him to let him focus on his career and marry Mr kim to provide MC a dad but unfortunately since she still has lingering feelings for YJ ,she cant live happily even with Mr kim and hence they have a long distance relationship . But why live with another person with regrets when u love someone else. Its no use living with a person u don't love ,no use having him as a dad for MC when he doesn't even come see her even though he's not her dad and that's extremely sad. But im glad MC got some inspiration to continue learning ballet.

i'm never going to watch a drama about youth anymore...its too much for our poor hearts to bear.

To me this wasn't a drama but reality, it was beyond ratings...it was too real that even now that it has ended this way I'm still unable to concentrate on my work . I know a drama is a drama and that it shouldn't affect us much but 2521 wasn't just a drama for me ,it was more than that.

As a person who's seen the drama from the beginning ,I really have to confess my sadness and disappointment in one ep that shattered my heart into a thousand pieces.
The drama was too beautiful that i lived and experienced life with the characters and learnt what true and real love was with baekdo's relationship till ep 15. BYJ was willing to do everything for heedo, supporting her even when the whole nation was against her winning a gold medal despite being a reporter ,but episode 16 just added too many stuffs that made the male leads' characters just turn 180* and it was too weird for me to digest it. Just thinking about the fact that YJ and HD wont even be together as friends for support makes me sooo sad...to me they were soulmates connected by a red thread from the beginning but the way it ended for them, without contact or without even seeing each other in years makes me feel so sad ,for they have been so perfect from 21-25 ...Guess being too perfect for each other can also be detrimental for a relationship. I'm just going to go cry in a corner and forget this drama existed for a while before i come back to reality, but even a drama that felt too real became unreal in a few minutes...I dont know what reality is anymore. Thank u writernim for shattering my hopes for a beautiful love.

The disappointment for everyone isn't because Baekdo weren't endgame but the fact that the reason given wasn't justified enough. If their characters hadn't tried enough to be together throughout their struggles so far,then it would have been believable but they went through so much only to breakup because of work and schedules and this was not acceptable . I personally was willing to accept a sad ending but with proper justification .

Most importantly ,what happened to the present BYJ and Heedo's present husband ? present jiwoong and yurim,seungkwan? maybe the other characters werent needed to be shown in the present but minchae's dad ???what about him.....current byj and his life without heedo? his career? he was just made a side character with no importance at last and that was the biggest disappointment for me.

I understand that everyone's life and situations are different but if jw and yr could make it work,then definitely baekdo also could have for their love was strong . This is what makes me so sad and disappointed ,I felt like crying watching BJ end up like that.
