So i liked the drama. 7/10, nothing really special to me, but still great HOWEVER one thing keeps bothering me…
I agree. They made her split personalities seem as something cute/funny but not overly serious. Trivializing mental illness like this didn‘t sit right with me at all.

uhoh- i downloaded whole drama and just saw the reviews.. I'm just half way of ep1 and I'm actually enjoying it.…
I don't understand all the negative comments tbh. Sure, there is no groundbreaking plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but as a slice of life drama it isn't meant to be in the first place. I enjoyed the quite plot without any unnecessary drama. To each their own I guess.

i watched 2-3 episode it is kind of dark and it is that stereotypical bullying and household abuse kind of story
Tbh, what I find the most crushing about these kind of stories is the extreme contrast between the beginning and the later parts. Usually these drama start out with the characters either happy or at least having hope to a certain extend just for human cruelty to take it all away.

It makes you realize that happiness is a precious but fragile thing to have and it only takes a moment for a life to break into pieces.

It makes you appreciate what you‘ve got but also apprehensive at the same time.

is it good from ep 1, and steady until at least 21 where iwas watching rght now, the export is just a plot for…
I remember thinking the same thing when I initially watched this 5yrs ago (I have a background in coding). The whole thing seemed simply ridiculous.

However, I did some digging online back then and actually found a video of a Chinese CTF event and damn xD

I mean sure they made the whole thing more game like and dramatized it for the sake of the average viewer and it being a tv show. (Though to be fair, this happens with every sport/job depiction in any drama ever made).

However, looking at the real thing, the whole CTF as an esport thing suddenly doesn‘t look too far fetched anymore.

If you know anything about cybersecurity the drama will still feel pretty cringe though.

I‘ll leave the link to the video if anyone is interested:

I liked the first 16 or so episodes, the characters are fleshed out and the acting is good, however towards the end the story became kinda ridiculous. Also, wtf was that ending? The scene on the rooftop was so freaking random and I don‘t see how it contributed anything. Sure, the story goes full cycle, ending where it initially began, but the twist felt forced and unnecessary to me.

The male lead was poorly chosen, he didn't fit the role whatsoever. Disappointing.

They‘re milking this like your average US show I see.

What I liked most about Korean dramas was that they were written and produced with the knowledge that they had a single season to make the best story they possibly could. As a viewer you knew what you were getting into and the writers wrote stories with a well defined story progression, because they knew they had to get the story done within X episodes.

Sad to see Korean dramas going down this road.

It's a solid drama, if I had watched it a couple years ago I would have enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I feel like I have burned out from watching too many Korean romcoms. Nowadays, they all seem the same to me. Not really the fault of this one in particular, but it will probably have been my last romcom for the foreseeable future.

This drama is so obsessed with appearances that it sacrifices everything else for it. The plot, common sense, everything. Just to squeeze in one more swoon worthy moment that makes no god damn sense.

Maybe I am the odd one, seeing how popular this drama is, but to me this show simply felt hollow and fake. Like some influencer trying to sell me their supposedly perfect life on social media.

If you take away the pretty wrapping, what would be even left of the drama?

you know what’s coming from the get go and it still hits with a ton of bricks 10/10 would cry through again
Not an exaggeration, I felt every single one of those bricks...

Not the worst drama I've seen, certainly not the best either. Once again the hype seems to be all about the visuals, because it most definitely is not about the writing which is mediocre at best.

A person hiding behind the cover of anonymity, making accusations without any evidence? How does stuff like this even make it on the news?

If this anonymous clown's claim had any credibility they would have filed a police report instead of going on some third rate news program.

And of course they don't seek compensation, for that they would have to show their face and actually provide proof. It's far more convenient to claim the moral high ground, "only" demanding an apology while hiding behind a keyboard.

How sad must your life be to come up with this kind of bs...
