hello could you explain the ending to me please? i didn't quite get it
You're smart, Summer.
I got the other part, but I was hating on him for abandoning his friends in his own world. But yeah, his inability to go back there makes sense.
Thanks for the clarity.
Poor Inspector Lee. She lost her best friend and then her boyfriend. Unlike Do Won, she can't even get to observe from a distance. She must be devasted in both worlds.
i loved this drama but can someone please explain the ending :")
Ms Oh was a multiple traveller across universes. By my count, five or so. That was the hand count she was doing when Inspector Seo came to visit. Every time, regardless of her actions, she could not change her fate. Her son always killed himself to punish her.
Ms Oh's experience, however, made Inspector Seo realise the existence of the multiverse, and that she could pursue Do Won there. Which she did. Eventually finding him in another multiverse where he had become Captain of the force.
Then, ignoring their histories with running vehicles, they proceeded to grin at each other in the middle of the road, glad to have found themselves once more.
Let's see.... Overall pretty bad plot with not much happening, lots of illogical tropes that make you go like…
Some shows are good precisely because they make you abandon logic.
Killing off J was weak. Hella weak. I mean you guys already had single bullets causing nuclear explosions in the show, why not throw in a 'hero shoots gun off villain's hand' scene to save best girl?
Just finished. I like the characters and the costumes...but they nerfed the primary antagonist, capsized both my ships and the obvious missing and dubbed over scenes were annoying.

The end.
IMO, should'a ended with greater consequences for the couple.
But, ehh, Asians are very nationalist.
I hope it goes on Netflix or something. Now I'm curious as to what got everyone's panties tangled up.
What an incredible ride. One of those shows I intend to force my kids to (re)watch with me.
The season 2 preview has me a bit shook though, so I'm going to put that on the back-burner.
BTW, any idea the (synth-pop, I'm guessing) song that usually plays when they are in a club?

Its action scenes make Wuxia and Bollywood look grounded, though. LMFAO.
Chinese writers: Say no more o:
Do you also advocate removing 'sharp bend ahead' signs so people can 'decide' for themselves?
My comment is simply a signpost that people can choose to either heed or ignore.
The magic system seems to be some combination of daemons and the ghouls from Tokyo Ghoul.
Ke Shu + Xi Shui.
Qi Ming + JXN.
Not that hard now was it! Whoever wrote the romance should be taken to the town square and egged.
It is not a *bad* drama. Just terrible romance pairs and the writer takes too much joy in ruining the happiness of the best couple ):
I finished it very bitter, LOL.
'sides C-Dramas give away the plot in the opening and credit sequences anyways o:
