How is it even possible that your review was much better than the drama itself?
I agree that the Emperor was great, but the constant constipated look and 'waterworks' from the Prince did zero for me. Hell, it had me cheering the Emperor on occasion, I'd be irritated if my kid was constantly bawling too.
My headcanon ending is episode 56, after all the suffering and torture Weixin undergoes at the Prince's hand, I was rather hoping the series would end with him being dragged away in chains, as he recognises who she really is. Alas!
BTW, why the sudden chill between his cousin and him? That's if you saw the after-credits.
P.S Miss Panda is one other point against the 'everybody would recognise Clark Kent as Superman' crowd.
