What a bunch of been there, seen this a million times garbage. I skipped through 16-20 what a waste of time. All these writers do is cut and paste scripts from all the same previous dramas and use different actors. No original thought or creativity whatsoever. Save your precious time for something else! There is no way this is a 7.8 rating.
This is not going to end well imo. The Chinese lost first Shanghai and then Nanjing (the capital at that time) at the end of 1937. Both locations where this story is taking place. Hundreds of thousands Chinese were lost in these two battles alone. Likely a sad ending as the war with Japan continued on becoming WWII.
