What do you mean? The trailer pretty accurately previewed the series. Unforunately, also the overly-loud music,…
Haha, I just realized my comment didn't make a lot of sense. I watched the trailer and I, knowing nothing about this series, was expecting a typical BL plot: cute and boring relationship drama. But then, it turned dark! I liked it, but it was unexpected.
I was not expecting that to go in the direction (based on the trailer). Looks interesting, hope the production is strong as well, the music was a little overpowering in the trailer.
In the BTS for the last episode, when Bbomb and Jin are practicing the kiss scene, the director shoves the actors faces together ands holds the backs of their heads, forcing them to kiss more deeply and longer. It was so gross. It looked very exploitative towards these young men who are acting in a BL drama, yes, but they still get to set their own boundaries. Go watch if you don't believe and then tweet at the director so he knows that fans support the actors being able to set their own boundaries.
I think I Promised You the Moon is even better than ITSAY (so far)!
The situation is so real and I love watching Teh and Oh Aew work to maintain their relationship. They are growing up together, and its hard, and I love that about this show. I think for a lot of people this season was never going to be as good as the first because we are conditioned in BLs to only see the slow burn of the couples getting together. Rarely do we get to see them after they have gotten together. And, to be honest, a lot of times, the next chapters are not good because the directors/writers have no idea how to develop a relationship. TharnType 2 was bad, Love by Chance 2 was bad, Together With Me: The Next Chapter was very mediocre, and Dark Blue Kiss was mixed, but I think most people watched for Sun/Mork because Pete/Kao's plotline didn't make a lot of sense although it did have some sweet scenes.
They are working to stay together, even though it is hard. Maybe they won't make it (honestly, most high school relationships don't). I hope that, even if they don't stay together, they are able to still hold on to their love for each other and stay a part of each others' lives. <3
So, so, so good! This is so true to life! It reminds me so much of being at college for the first time, away from home, struggling to find people to feel like you belong with. I love seeing this show deal with much more mature themes about relationships. Usually, once the characters get together, the show is over. IPYtM is leagues and leagues above the typical Thai BL. Amazing show, I was on the edge of my seat every second wondering what would happen next. I can't wait for next week!
I didn't get it at all. The plot didn't make any sense to me. The new director is a complete asshole, and, yes, he has a hot body, but he always has such a stanky look on his face, he's not even good-looking to me.
I barely made it through the first episode. Not good.
Wow that was some emotional release you got out of your system - LOL - it’s a BL series this is not a documentary…
I prefer to watch shows I don't like just so that I can go into the comments sections on mydramalist and criticize them because I enjoy that part. By the way, "if you don't like it, don't watch it" is bs. You don't know if you like it until it's over. You can't go back in time and not watch it. Seriously.
Kind of like a student film. I like the actors but the story was really meh. Also, it seemed kind of anachronistic? I'm not sure exactly what time period this was set in, but did they know about infection back then??? And was being gay cool in Korea back then? Or, you know, making out with a dude (since I guess gay is more of a modern, Western invention). Idk, but the whole thing felt very stiff.
You don't judge the book by its cover. At first, I found Li Cheng so annoying. But here I see everything we want…
He should have exactly as much weight as he wants to have. If he likes his current body, it's not y'alls place to tell him how he needs to change it. Body-shaming isn't cool. And before you start protesting that saying "he needs to gain some weight" isn't body shaming, it's just your opinion, I already know you are going to say that. I agree that it is your opinion, but telling someone to lose or gain weight to "be so much more attractive" (re; Gaia's comment) is literally the definition of body shaming. Also, you don't know his health or lack thereof. Just because you think someone looks skinny, it doesn't mean they are unhealthy. That is between the person and their doctor. Anyway, body shaming isn't cool and it leads people to have all kinds of eating disorders, etc... If there is a person on this page who read your comment and was already feeling bad about their body (maybe because they are skinny), seeing that you all think people need to gain weight to be some kind of perfect body type is going to make them feel worse. Hopefully, you will not body shame people in the future.
ep 16 is the one that is out right did i miss something ?
If you watch it on Viki, they do 10 episodes total. On other platforms, they split each 45 minute episode (10 total) into two 20-ish minute episodes. So episode 8 is sometimes called episodes 15 and 16.
I also like the brother's couple but I truly feel sorry for the dad for living with the crazy lady all his life.
I think a reasonable person would say, "I knew he planned to seduce his brother, but not that he planned to have sex with him while he was too drunk to say no" or something like that. I guess it could just be bad writing.
I also like the brother's couple but I truly feel sorry for the dad for living with the crazy lady all his life.
She said, according to the subtitles, "I knew what he planned." That sounds to me like she knew he was planning to rape his brother. Idk what flypsyde is talking about.

I don't think she is crazy, but I do think she is somewhat complicit in her son's crime. She knew her son was planning to rape her stepson and chose not to say anything about it. That's pretty messed up.
