Someone spoil Khaofang and Tan story from the novel to me please. Because I'm feeling like Khaofang isn't actually…
I thought the exact same. When Tan asked him to be boyfriends he seemed somewhat touched/excited, but this last episode it truly felt like it did back at the beginning of the series when Fang barely even acknowledged Tan's existence.
I've said this before, I'll say it again. Q and Toey carry this show. They have storylines and character development,…
They should've made this a basic 10 episodes series with QToey as the main couple and PhumPeem as the secondary couple and that would've been more than enough 🫠🫠ðŸ«
I've been putting this off for a couple years now but I've decided to finally watch this series since gmmtv 2024 pt 2 announcement and the pilot of singtokrist's comeback!!!
It's a bit old school when it comes to BL but I'll try to give it a fair chance since it's such a classic 😋
Does anyone know where i can watch this???? It's not avaliable on youtube in my country and i don't have netflix. Are there any fansubs???? PLEASEEEEE I'M DYING ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I just rewatched kieta hatsukoi after ages and i have to say casting gemfourth for the adaptation is spot-on!…
i just know fourth is gonna EAT and leave no crumbs as aoki/atom. aoki was a goofy and energetic character with serious and dramatic moments sprinkled in the middle. characters who are silly and serious when they need to be are fourth's whole brand.
I'm so scared to watch thisðŸ˜ðŸ˜. I LOVED the original and it was just perfection. I hope GMM doesn't mess…
i personally liked cherry magic thai better than the original japanese one... so i have high hopes for this one. specially bc this has the same director from my school president and that series + gem4th was a total hit.
considering that the good supportive teacher wasn't in the manga and is a character original to the japanese adaptation, i'm guessing papang will be playing that homophobic tutor then??? and as for aungpao, my guess is that he'll be playing that guy who was ida's best friend from childhood/his teammate. that's the only other plot-relevant character i can think of.
Actually at this point I am not even sure if it's paranormal or not. So much things are pointing toward a revenge…
i just finished ep 4 so i might be a bit off here since i'm a few eps behind but i'm thinking it's both things at once somehow??? the series literally starts with the supernatural element, with por telling the legend of that forest cult so idk
I really liked this, the acting, the chemistry and the plot was amazing. They had me giggling and jumping from…
i had the same feeling regarding that love triangle. considering both sang-won and kyung-hoon were in the poster when i went into this series i was 100% sure they'd be the secondary couple. considering their parents are friends, they've know each other since forever and when myung-ha talks about sang-won being bad kyung-hoon corrects him and says he is actually kind. THE SET UP WAS RIGHT THERE!!!!! i 100% thought they would reveal kyung-hoon had a crush on sang-won the whole time and when myung-ha rejected him so quickly he'd move on and be with him.
i was SO CONFUSED when by the last episodes sang-won was still in love with myung-ha and kyung-hoon suddlenly had a random internet boyfriend on the other side of the planet :P
i'd be lying if i said i didn't like this... but i'd also be lying if i said i fully understood it lol. i'm gonna…
i don't think the game was a different universe, or an isekai, or purgatory/afterlife. i think it was myung-ha's own timeline but just 10 years in the past. when he got there he was way too familiar with the city and the buses. he even knew the way to his house and his own grandma was there. he said everything in the school looked familiar and he already had a big fame of being a "mad dog" despite being only a background character in sunbae's novel. i think that was the actual school he went to but for whatever reason in his 1st life he chose to not associate with others and ended up alone and miserable. yeo-woon was probably someone he watched from afar but never interacted with in his first life, the one guy in school who was as much down on his luck as myung-ha was. sunbae's generic mission "make yeo-woon happy" never said anything about developing a romantic relationship with him. myung-ha was just strung along too focused on finishing the quests that he made the same mistakes he made in his first life: not relying on others, not taking help, not loving properly or allowing himself to be loved. the same mistakes he made with his gf he made with yeo-woon. and in the end he still chose the same fate and deleted himself. only then he realized it was never about yeo-woon, it was always about him. he could never finish the mission of making yeo-woon happy bc he was making himself miserable to achieve that. sunbae dropped so many hints and myung-ha misunderstood all of them.
and as for who the sunbae was... i saw a lot of people saying he could be someone like death or fate but i think he was myung-ha himself, or at least a manifestation of his counciousness, bc i doubt an entity like fate would give him a third chance in life at the end. i think it was myung-ha facing himself in that slipt second of his death where he regretted everything bc sunbae asks him how would he have written that story differently and the author's pen myung-ha gets in ep 7 is the same sunbae uses to force him to write the story changes when he was drunk in that weird bar-limbo. after his second death sunbae specifically tells him that he thought if myung-ha learned to love someone he'd be happier and his ex-gf telling him he didn't know how to love was litterally one of the reasons why he decided to end it all. if sunbae had been a real person or friend in his life who got to experience in first hand myung-ha's "lovelessnes", he would have appeared in those memories he got from his 1st life at the end (like his grandma and ex girlfriend and even the people on the streets making a wish). when myung-ha asks who sunbae was and then fades, sunbae stays there (in the place he called "death") and stares to where myung-ha was standing with tears in his eyes. i think sunbae was the myung-ha from the original timeline who ended himself and was trying to give himself a second (and even third) chance so there is at least one version of him out there who had a happy ending. in the 1st timeline he lost both his partner and his grandma, but in the new one he got to keep both.
hope this all made sense :P i just finished the series and was rambling trying to make sense of it all.
i'd be lying if i said i didn't like this... but i'd also be lying if i said i fully understood it lol. i'm gonna leave here in the comments what i think happened in the story:
i just finished the 1st episode and initially i was a bit upset that the monster costume looked tacky and that they failed rule number #1 of horror: don't show the monster too much, it kills the suspense. but by the end it was clear why it was done like that: the characters themselves can't decide wether that thing is a monster, a slasher killer wearing their film's costume or the ghost of their missing friend (and since this series is called >DEAD FRIEND< forever i'm gonna assume the answer is the 3rd option lol). that's why they kept showing it and that's why that costume looked so off.
OK I'M LIKING THIS AND I'M SO EXCITED TO KEEP WATCHING IT.
gmmtv better release the episodes with spanish + brazilian portuguese subtitles as well. if you look at GL content…
They only release ENG subtitles. Everything else is fansub. If there are hispanic + brazilian ppl interested in translating, there will be PT/ESP subs.
i had no interest in watching this show bc i didn't rly understand the premise of the plot from the trailer, but after watching JimmySea's INSANE chemistry in last twilight i might just give this a go!!
It's a bit old school when it comes to BL but I'll try to give it a fair chance since it's such a classic 😋
i'm going crazy with this show i swear
