My heart broke for Yi Seo. T-T But I hope that now that the cat is out of the bag, we might get the romance we…
Yes my heart broke for her too. And I was thinking the same thing. What Geun wanted to happen is going to backfire because after she's done crying - she's going to want to destroy something and it won't be Saeroyi because she already knew where he was. She had a 2 year plan. She is gonna be something to deal with once she gets over the embarrassment and maybe in this Saeroyi will finally see who really cares about him because that Soo Ah I just don't like her. She's seen all this wicked stuff that old man has done and continues to do yet she has no ethical compass at all. At least Yi Seo told Saeroyi that she was willing not do unethical things now that she knows he doesn't like that. Soo Ah don't care at all. This is gonna work in Yi Seo's favor. Geun just made the mistake of his life.
I have passed this up on Netflix several times and finally watched it and I'm so glad I did. I seriously enjoyed this! Seriously. While the male lead isn't drop dead gorgeous like the my celebrity love of all times Ha Seok Jin or the ever gorgeous Hyun Bin, Park Seo Joon, Seo Kang Joon he grew on me as the show progressed. I love this show. Seriously. I love it. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
Yeah it's not too overboard but it sure is annoying. The latest episodes have got me on the ledge of abandon ship. I'm over the whole thing. Just wow. And I agree just give me the cheesy fluffy lovey dovey stuff. If I wanted heart wrenching drama I would have went for that. I was prepared for him to be the hard unshakeable jerk but he obviously isn't that. If it wasn't for the emotional investment I have in Zhang Zhe Han's character I would have jumped a long time ago. Why!!!!!! Why!!! Why!!! Can we get on with it already. I feel it's only going to drag more. Uggh...
Fast forward is the best option. I wish I wasn't so invested. The latest episode hit a new level of grating on my nerves today. I need a BIG EYE ROLL button or something. Just ugh.. Over it for real.
When Saeroyi got into trouble, his dad gave up everything to stand by him and the decision he made. When Geunwon…
Honestly I feel kind of bad for Geunwon because he's an abused kid hungry for the love and approval of his father. He may be a full grown man but he is an abused kid on the inside screaming for attention and affection. He wanted to confess back then or at least take responsibility and his crazy father beat him and took him out to that chicken coop or pig pen (i forget which one) to teach him a lesson. I believe it was chickens and he had him snap the neck of the chicken. Either way his dad is crazy. And my heart hurt for him after his father made him believe he cared about him and loved him. That old man is going down. Jus wow. How can someone be so wicked?
Episode 9 has only reinforced why I believe YiSeo is the woman for Sae Ro Yi. That girl don't play games. She is hard and I love it. Not only that but Soo Ah would never fight for Sae Ro Yi like YiSeo fights for him. As hateful as she can be, she is a REAL ONE!!
I found my way to this drama because of Seo Kang Joon. I am currently watching Are You Human and I think he is so precious and gorgeous. I'm in love with Robot Shin in that show so I felt the need to see him in more shows and I'm glad I cam. I like him. And I love this story line. I love the feel of the show so far. I plan to see it through to the end.
There is a lot of angst but that's because of the story line surrounding the ML (Zhang Zhe's) back story. What he's gone through is nothing short of abuse and for that reason I'm invested in the story. I want to see him get a happy ending and Riley's character deserves one too. Right now the second female lead is just working me and the way some things are playing out is driving me crazy. Some things are just dragging out but if you evaluate it from the ML's mindset some of the back and forth is understandable it's just annoying.
And I have to say it. I went back and rewatched the most recent episode. When I hit the part at the club, I noticed…
There's so much I want to say but I agree. I don't have a problem with YiSeo because she's honest and blunt even if she's wrong. Her assumption about Toni's nationality is wrong. Even though he has African ancestry like most black people around the world but that doesn't mean we're from Africa. I've never seen any part of Africa but I know what's it's like to hear dumb comments like go back to your country. Technically I was born in Central America so that is my country but because I am labeled African-American people make dumb comments like go back to Africa. My DNA and ancestry s rooted in multiple places because I have African ancestry, Irish, Native American Indian, Latin, French and Asian I believe.
Going back to the country of my ancestry would be confusing in that regard. I however was born in Central America and raised in North America. So the assumptions of people is a bit annoying. Yi Seo's assumption along with the assumption of others is wrong but I believe their hearts as well as hers was in the right place because she along with the others defended him and refused to go in the club because of their discrimination against Toni. There's a difference between being a flat out racist and ignorant or ill-informed/poorly educated.
The fact remains that she defended him and even apologized in her own way by telling him she would help him find his father. Aside from PSJ's character I think YiSeo is the most honest and most real of them all. And while she may be shrewd business wise and a little single focused where Danbam is concerned - she is willing to learn and change because she loves PSJ's character. I can work with someone like her willing to learn and change. That So Ah tho. She's just outright selfish and she's manipulative. She knows how PSJ's character feels about her yet she's determined to only live for her and do only for herself so in my opinion her character is ratchet. But that's just me. I'm rooting for YiSeo. I believe she has potential to grow and she's the perfect woman for PSJ's character. He needs someone willing to fight for him likes he does and has for others because he lost that when his father died So Ah didn't fight for him and she isn't now.
Rewatching this now that it’s on Viki and I am falling in love with Seo Kang Joon all over again! He executives…
Seo Kang Joon is enjoyable to watch. He is SUPER FINE! My goodness. This is certainly going on my list of favorites. He is being added to my Mega Crush List as well..
I'm 16 episodes in. I'm loving this show but I'm not loving Yena. She is getting on my nerves. I am confused about the whole female forcing herself on the guy who doesn't want her and then she can be nasty, rude and ridiculous acting towards everyone in her way without being dealt with. It's annoying to me. And that whole slap me because I'm the help thing is not working for me. I would have drug her by now without fear of the consequences. If you bold enough to raise your hand to hit me then you're going to catch these hands like the boss you acting like. For real. I don't get it. I don't care your status or position. You're not going to just lay hands on me anytime you want. I don't like her character or the others like her character in other dramas. It's an annoyance. Okay. Rant over.
I started out loving this.. My love is slowly waning. Everything can't be a Hallmark Movie so I'll get over it. I'm just ready for things to progress. I'm 18 episodes in 18 more to go. How will this end? In the meantime the visuals of Zhang Zhe Han, Riley Wang and his dimple are enough to keep me coming back to see what the end shall be.
