I am hoping that would be the case but articles about him only appearing until Episode 9 have been released. From Episode 10, he will be watching along with us, finding out who killed off his character.

I actually feel the same way. I am staying because I want to know who killed Soon Young and how it happened. While everything seems to be pointing to KYJ’s father, this investigation and revenge era should not drag that much. If I had the chance, I would suggest that the first 4 episodes should have focused on the happy family. The next 4 on JW’s issues (minus the cheating), another 4 on her treatment and healing, 2 on the revenge and the last 2 on her journey to wholeness and her happy ending. OR they could have made it a 12-episode drama. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What is the need for having Kim Sang Beom do that evil thing to Jae Won?

Feels like a big-scale spin-off of Taxi Driver, except there's no taxi.

…Nam Tae Ju is actually Jae Won’s dad? AND …That romance between Jae Won and Tae Oh could be set aside for another season for two reasons: Soon Young’s death is one of the important reasons for Jae Won’s revenge and it’s just right that she is given time to mourn for his passing.

Because many who are watching are watching it for the reunion of Go Back Couple couple. I am a fan of Son Hojun but for the sake of the story (and justice for Soon Young), I’ll be watching until the end.

Here we go again. Had this “Sherlock” theory with Bong Dojin in The First Responders because I thought a main character dying is impossible but no… Do I put my hope in this again? That Heo Soon Young might actually be alive? This is my first and last comment about him. Until the drama finishes, anyway.
