I like this so much I can't even explain it. I've watched this earlier this year and I keep going back here to…
True! I just finished it last month, and believe me when I say it’s so hard to move on from this drama.
I don’t understand, because while watching it I felt relaxed, chill vibes, light, and it helped me to distress. But then after like a week or so, it all started coming back to me, giving me withdrawal syndrome.
I went into watching it without any expectations, only for Li Xian, but I finished it with my heart feeling content and healed. ❤️
guys, I love hometown cha-cha-cha, should I watch meet yourself?
It’s definitely worth it! ^^
In fact, many people who enjoyed HCCC ended up liking MY more, including me.
But just to remind you, MY is deeper, more slice-of-life, realistic, and more slow-moving (but the romance is so satisfying!) than HCCC which is more on the dramatic and romcom side.
Some people, especially the type who don’t like slow-burn didn’t enjoy MY because of the slowness.
I’m usually not into slice-of-life and slow-burn but MY is the one-of-a-kind, the type of drama that’d make you want to watch more shows like this after, but then, none could come close to it.
So I recommend you to try and see it for yourself, at least 10-15 episodes. Some got bored after only 3-5 eps, which is too early to judge. 1 ep is like 40 mins long only, so it doesn’t feel too long.
I know I’m not the first person to say this but “Meet Yourself” is the best, one-of-a-kind, masterpiece slice-of-life drama out there, and none other healing dramas could surpass it.
If the concept of ‘the main character from a big city going to a small town and meeting their love interest’ is considered as a plagiarism, then we could say “Business Proposal” & “King the Land” copied “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”, or “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” copied “To Me, It’s Simply You” & “Top Star Yoo Baek”. 🙄
Could you please recommend dramas with "deep and golden conversations about life", because I love those too. I…
Try these: 1. Our Sister’s Soulmate (Jdrama) 2. There’s a Reason for the Love I’m Wearing (Jdrama) 3. A Poem A Day (Kdrama, but more to poems than conversations)

Hi bestie!
Try these: 1. Our Sister’s Soulmate (Jdrama) 2. There’s a Reason for the Love I’m Wearing (Jdrama) 3. A Poem A Day (Kdrama, but more to poems than conversations)
So South Korean netizens accused Meet Yourself of “copying” HomeCha? What a joke!
And I’d like to ask those accusers, in what way that this Cdrama is a copy of HomeCha??? Because I couldn’t see it at all.
The base concept is similar, yes but the storylines? TOTALLY DIFFERENT.
For example, the FL in Meet Yourself is definitely more calm, mature, and professional compared to the FL in HomeCha. And the overall story in MY is less dramatic, more realistic than HCCC.
If anyone wants to accuse the one-of-a-kind slice-of-life drama, Meet Yourself, of plagiarism, I’d be the first one to fight them!
And I’m commenting here as a fan of both MY and HCCC.

But this is a different story. They need to have solid evidence first before accusing. 🤦🏻♀️

I always put high level of trust on my Yoo Seungho. 💕
