Episode 9: Happenstance wasn't the finale I had hoped for. While it's open-ended, it's still a bit sad that the…
I also felt a bit let down by the finale episode. I had pretty much predicted the ending after the first episode. Each episode surprised me and I never knew what to expect. This was a great series by all means. I did not think I would like it as much as I did.
I refrained from watching The Untamed for so long because I thought it wouldn't be my cup of tea and I ended up…
I put off watching the Untamed for the longest time as well. I was blown away by it and am glad I gave it a shot. Word of Honor feels similar to Untamed, but so far I don’t see their relationship going anywhere. They barely seem like friends. I am only up to 11 so maybe that will change
I like this series, but it has the same things hat is common in the tomb raider series. It starts off with a bang, but then when the adventure is over there are maybe ten episodes where not much happens except for flashbacks and them sitting around talking.
Keep an eye out for Word of Honor. It's currently airing and being subtitled but it's also mature with a heavy…
I’m not sure you really know what you are talking about. Would you consider The Untamed a bromance, or BL? I’m just curious because you seem to be an expert on this. Please give me some of your wisdom because apparently you know more than me. I’ll stick to the more adult gay/BL series. Engineers and doctors and shrill screaming girls are a bit tired.

It’s a dumb reply because you don’t agree with what I said, or failed to understand what I said. You specifically said Censored romances are NOT bromance. Which implies that there can never be a bromance with a censored romance. There are cases where that is not the case. Your last sentence says it all. “Censoring the explicit while leaving subtle hints”. Sounds like a bromance.

A censured romance is a bromance. It’s called subtext. Technically if a censored storyline is changed from lover to a friend. That is a bromance. I’ve seen more bromances with way more intimacy than two young actors pretending to kiss when they are obviously uncomfortable.
I loved this more mature gay series. Are there others like this? Even if bromance. The Guardian, S.C.I., Untamed . I loved all of those. Even the Lost Tomb series.
I haven’t watched it yet, and probably won’t. This is an annoying story trope in many BL series. Whenever there is a time jump, the people are still acting like nothing has changed over time. These couple have been together for years but their lack of intimacy always annoys me. 2gether second season was the same way. Nothing had changed over time and they still acted like there was zero affection. I’m going to stick to shows with adults like Manner of Death. Even most bromances have more intimacy than most BL series. The series that have come out over the last year had some great series, like Gameboys, Hello Stranger, and some that were garbage. Love by chance 2 was awful. Amore was just pure garbage, one of THE worst BL series ever. I will say to people, be careful what you wish for. It seems like most second series have turned to sh*t. I think BLs might not be for me anymore. I’ll stick to the adult gay series and bromances from now on.
The legal age here in the UK is 16, not only that but it's not like they were really doing anything they were…
Yes, the site seems to be full of children and sexually repressed adults. Whatever the controversy is about the underage characters, nothing about it seemed controversial. It’s called acting. People do it all the time, and actually get paid for it. There is a show on HBO called Euphoria. That has lots more underage sex in high school and there is no controversy with that. Still, after seeing all the reviews, I will skip it.
In my opinion this was the best Thai BL of 2020! No student lead characters, no angst over sexuality, no fujoshi…
Definitely a step up from the silly BL tropes. No ex girlfriends, no drama with them being gay. No engineers, although he was a doctor. He was an actual doctor, not some student in medical school. I felt the entire story, while predictable at times, still felt fresh and different. It reminded me of History 3: Trapped.
I just finished this and loved it. So nice to see adults acting like adults without the typical BL drama of ex girlfriends, etc..l. Does anyone know if a second series is planned?
