The director actually toned this down from how it was in the manwha, where Taesung actually pressed multiple kisses…
Is there a place to read Cherry Blossom manga in English?

Addicted is still one of my all time favorites. I never really felt the show was toxic.

Well yea I agree. Usually in bl or in romance in general there are always some toxic moments if I can call it…
I feel the same about Tharntype. It was pretty toxic. I liked it, but didn’t watch seven years later because I started to find them boring and unlikeable.

Episode 5.💖😍😋😋😋😋After Semantic Error I'm glad I picked this up. So sweet, so intense & too fluffy…
I really liked Semantic Error also and have really liked this one so far. Those two are my favorites so far this year.

i really wanted to like it, but i found the plot a little too far-fetched and the production a little too polished,…
Far fetched is par for the course with BLs. These shows are all far-fetched, some more than others. I’ve found Korean shows to have pretty high production. I don’t see how having a better budget is a negative thing. I would take a well produced show over some of them that have no budget. Now, I think story should always be first, But the quality does make a difference. Good sound, lighting and acting are also important. Some shows I can’t even watch because the sound is so bad. What I do like is that the episodes aren’t 10-12 minutes long but 23-24 minutes. I can’t watch the 12 minute episodes. I usually wait until they compile it into a movie.

I have to say that this show is so cute and fun. I really didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. Just light hearted and sweet. The thing I like about is the lack of silly drama tropes. Although the trailer for ep 6 looks like there might be a troublesome girl to add unnecessary drama. I really thought those old tropes were going away but apparently not. Still, Hae Bom is so adorable.

BL dramas can’t get above the mid 8 range after MDL’s algorithm change, so we have to look at BL ratings more…
What algorithm change?

I feel like the writers had enough material for a movie and then were told by the studio that they had to stretch it out to 12 episodes. And then halfway into shooting they realized they had used most of budget. So there are times when the lack of budget really shows (like most of the sporting events with minimal to no crowds). I didn’t hate it, I just didn’t like most of the characters except for Saen. He’s probably the reason I kept watching.

I have lost all interest in the main couple. The other couple, Aii and Saen are pretty much the main reason I kept watching.

There was a gap between shoot due to covid and also because he was shooting for Baker Boys at the same time
I figured that. There is one scene though that you could tell his hair was blonde and they put some temporary dye in his hair to make it look darker.

It’s not horrible, just not that good. And why does the coach’s hair go from black to blond? sometimes in the same episode?

this show is not a fantasy, it is based on a true story. so the forced scene/rape is not okay both in the real…
Just about anything can be “based on a true story”. Two guys fall in love. That’s the extent of those “true” stories because 2 men have fallen in love. Unless it’s some sci-fi or involving monsters. The fact they say it’s based on a true story doesn’t mean much. I don’t disagree with what you said, I’m just questioning the whole “true story” aspect of the show. And it’s from China, so who knows what the actual story could have been because it probably was censored. Honestly, I don’t really have an opinion on whether or not they have another season. I don’t think there will be a second series, but who knows?

I had no idea what was going on in this movie. And what the hell, the talking bear?
That makes sense. I’m curious if her power was to create live bears from her mind, or if she could somehow animate those Build-a-Bear stuffed animals.
