so is 23,000 hits on tencent good or not? i thought it's good 'cause i read a post that it's one of the fastest dramas to hit that mark + fans in xhs was just aiming for 10,000 in tencent. i do know however that it's rare to hit 30,000 in tencent.

this censorship, i can only cry 😭 but for general star tbh i quite prefer that this has no rebirth, i also turned off my brain reading that he yan somehow trained this sickly lady's body to be on par with her past life's. besides, at least she will be able to take back everything with her original body in this drama. it's been years since i've read this novel so maybe that's why i'm not very particular on the changes.

hahahaha #3 i'm a novel reader myself and even if i don't know he yan's description, i would still not question the fl's appearance. it's china! there are even novels who described their actual male leads as beautiful and delicate as jade 😭

on point! that novel was also already sold right and i saw some funny comments on douyin that said "don't cry, books fans. it's too late to give up qsck's novel now, you have more things to cry about later." 🤣 i am a novel reader too and would be happy if the novels i like get adapted. i already learned to separate novels from dramas and long accepted that most can only be depicted through my imagination. there are lots of extreme chinese novel fans without this mindset tho.

yeaa i think 10,000 is a feat itself in their case, i'm surprised they managed to hit over 20,000. there are also lots of good reviews from non-fans so far. i also love that the drama did not use excessive smoothing filter!

i read some posts (most likely fans) say that the script really highlighted the female lead scenes on this one. although the novel cannot be adapted text by text, the modifications are said to be reasonable and visualise the female lead much stronger. let's see how this will turn out 🤩

bftb is a full on visual feast + chemistry bomb imo. it's a happy ending, the love triangle part is not highly emotional and actually done funny. this series is an easy watch, there are heavy parts but all throughout lighthearted.
