Title Why R U?
I am disappointed by this entire 2nd episode except for the TharnType part(my babies). I see some scenes have…
I know right, they really did Hwa and Tutor dirty here. Hwa in the book is sweet and caring, she doesn't force her feelings onto Fighter unlike the series. She could be a little bit selfish toward Tutor since he spoils her, but she also cares for him so much. And Tutor while he dislikes Fighter he's pretty chill about it. He only gets mad when he thinks Fighter doesn't treat Hwa right or does something that scratches his pride, unlike the series version where he gets snarky all the time without reason. I agree with you he's not a character to be pitied, but even if it's the direction the series want to take, they've failed. I can't even sympathize with him since they turned his supposedly pitiful situation into a joke (ep1) and the way they presented his source of problem through Hwa made her sound arrogant. Hwa book version would never say she pity him as if she were above him, she would admire and praise him instead because he's the friend she loves and is proud of.

Just watched ep2, the flow is a bit better than ep1 although the continuous jump from one clown music to another still prevent me from getting invested in the plot and Zon's friends jokes are still too over the top. I don't think young adult males acts like that all the time, not even teenagers, or I just haven't seen enough of them to know lol. Still, me wanting to see Zon and Saifah's cute chemistry keeps me going, and I'm not disappointed by that little scene in front of the elevator <3 Hope there will be more of them next episode. However, I'm kind of disappointed with the other couple though. It's cute how Fighter's attraction to Tutor is evident from the get go, but Tutor's being snarky with him all the time without reason. The only times Fighter intentionally annoyed him are when he wrote his name incompletely (which I think he did because their name rhymed lol) and when he asked him for his sign, but other than that he never picks fight with him anymore. While Tutor just sulked at the sight of him and bit him at every chance, even when Fighter is nice to him. I actually don't understand why he hates him, unlike Zon's dislike toward Saifah. You can say he might be jealous of Hwahwa, but he already did that way before Fighter met her. And I can't insert what I understand of their relationship from the novel to the one in the series because their vibe and the way they act are different. If anyone could enlighten me I would be glad to listen :D

P. S.: THARNTYPE GOT ME SCREAMINGGGG ugh they're still so sweet together I can't

Yes, but you don't need to watch season 1 at all.
The casts are all the same as s1 except the three main leads in the poster and some others, and there are references but you don't need to watch s1 to understand.

I know Team has nightmares and that's why he sleeps with Win most nights. Is his nightmares like Pharm's, as in…
No there's something happened in his childhood, possibly involving his brother but it's only my assumption since the novel hasn't covered that yet.

Title Why R U?
I'm with you, I was not at all impressed with the first episode, especially considering the endless hype for it.…
With Thai BLs I won't complain about the plot though, since usually they just follow the novel it's adapted from. The problem is how the series portrays and visualizes the novel. Something cliche can still be enjoyed when it's used well, and that's the difference between the novel and the series. I find the novel interesting, so does the part ep 1 covered, hence why I was so excited to watch this but the series fails to deliver it so far. They turn everything into comedy, that's why. They don't treat Zon's sadness over his failing dream and Tutor's struggle to overcome his misfortune seriously and turn them into some cheap humor instead then render them into mere petty cranks.

To be honest I'm pretty disappointed by their first ep, maybe because they've set my expectations so high. The actors are all actually good, but Zon's friends are too over the top for me and I don't blame them, they're probably only told to do so because the problem isn't their way of acting but what they do. Also in my opinion, the editing isn't smooth and the music is too distracting that I can't truly enjoy the story and the characters. They overplay the comedy that I can't sympathize with Zon's and Tutor's problems at all. Love that anime addition though ☺️ That's just me though, I know many also loves this episode. Hope it'll get better next ☺️☺️

I accidentally saw that Mew (the actor who acted Tharn in TharnType the series) will appear as a guest in the…
No it's by CandyOn, but MewGulf will be cameos there together. If it's the same universe then it'd be like Saint having two different personalities lol

As a premise, I'm not done reading the novel yet so my opinion is highly based on the series only. I'm really…
I think they just dropped some scenes here and there for WinTeam couple to leave the audience craving for more but not too much so they can still keep the story for season 2. Or I hope so ☺️

Title Until We Meet Again Spoiler
I still love this series, currently just finished episode 11, but the rating of 9 that I was thinking of giving…
I'm also confused with that part when Pharm pushed Dean away in all seriousness and both of them made it seem as if Dean was doing a bad mistake. Then I read the novel and it went differently there. Dean is the one who pulls himself away because he can feel Korn inside him at that moment and he doesn't want to do that with Pharm while being driven by Korn's feelings. This makes way more sense and gets me wondering why the director made it that way in the series. Pharm himself never really opposes to it, he's just being his shy self. It's not that he doesn't want it, it's just the effect of whatever Dean does to him is too much for his heart to bear lol ?

Title TharnType Spoiler
The 11.5 episode was sort of not necessary I guess. Just some flashbacks with Lhong and nothing significant, just…
I think it's there to emphasize how important Tharn is in Lhong's life, to make the audience totally understand that he's basically his everything. Therefore despite not getting legal punishment for what he has done, he gets another which is worse for him than being jailed instead, that's not seeing Tharn anymore and be hated for the rest of his life.

To be honest this is one of my favorite BL novel, it's quite a turn off knowing they will add cliché fiancee drama out of nowhere. I wonder how it could be, since it feels out of character for Solo's father to be forcing a fiancee to his son. But still I'm so excited to watch this since I love all the original character so much and the chemistry between them ❤ Hope it would be executed well while still keeping the charm of the novel ☺️
On Until We Meet Again Jan 19, 2020
To be honest the acting that touches me the most in this series is Earth (everytime he shows up, he just pulls me in), then the grandma (I'm crying with every word she said at that scene with Dean), and Perth (seriously though he just showed up for a few seconds in the beginning but I teared up the moment he cried). Love the other casts too but they just make me feel the most ☺️

Title Until We Meet Again Spoiler
Is Pharm really completely oblivious of the fact that one of his best friends is also in a relationship? Or am…
Well to be fair, Pharm is just too obvious and there are eyes everywhere the couple goes and always got posted at social media so even if he wanted to keep it, it's already a public secret lol. While Team he's still at the denial phase (at least until that Christmas light scene in the series, I don't know since when and how coz the novel hasn't reached it yet) and they behave normally in front of others. Win has been known of being good at taking care of others to the point of them misunderstanding him, so people might just think he's taking care of his junior as he always do because they don't know what they do in their dorm.
