Yeah,but young people watching it will have trouble finding what wrong and right is so this kind of show is also dangerous. It can change people to think in inhuman ways and be ok with them, they might start treating their boy/girl friend in a similar way. Nobody knows what type of people are watching the series and what they are thinking. I love fiction, but I think the problem is not the fiction here, but what is morally ok and of course that includes not romanticing bad actions.

Agreed with many things you said, to add to the rant, yes the first few episodes are kind of like the normal cold-warm fl-ml dramas. Just kind of average in that sense, so even I don't feel refreshed by the role reversal. I also feel this gives the characters a one-dimensional feel. I think I'll get to episode 12 and see if I drop it lol. However the drama is aesthetically pretty, but only being pretty doesn't make a great drama. I also feel cheated with the bgm music used in the drama, youku is using the same type of music in their dramas and just changing them a little bit, I guess they think we won't notice XD
I don't really like how Si Teng treats Qin Fang at the beginning. I mean I like the idea of a role reversal and everything, but it still feels the same as the cold-ml nice-fl dramas, i mean it is still a cold-warm drama (if not including the gender lol), so in a way they are still just 2D characters instead of multi-dimensional characters. However I really like the cinematography and the costumes, it's kind of like a flower-vase drama, its nice to look at, also the bgm sounds familiar... (but i guess that is Youku reusing some songs from other dramas and just changing them a bit, which is also off putting)I also feel like I want to fast-forward some parts ); Ok enough rant. i stopped watching at episode 7 XD. At the beginning the chemistry was nice, but later it becomes a little bit draggy and the plot is also kind of out of the hat, I can see why other people would like it. The SFX are cool, but the plot somehow becomes monotonous and that is putting me off. It kind of feels like a role play, I feel that the characters don't really have a very deep personality or backstory for me to feel attached to them, so I keep fastforwarding some pointless parts. I'd say it's all quite shallow, which is not really my cup of tea.
