I really wanted to see Xiaoran's crying scene. I think Ywy and/or bailu might have said something that contradicted the editing they did so they cut their dialogue. I feel the same I have never seen such obvious bad editing. To think they did this to a drama with veteran actor like fsf. Now I wanna read what the producer has to say. I really need an explanation. Lol

Tbh I am particularly mad about the farewell scene of Yezi and YWY. The BTS showed their acting skills. It was a chance for them to show the viewers that they're not bad actors.

I only enjoyed the action scenes of Yi Wuyou and Yu Xiuming in this ep. Everything else was meh.

I have my bias but I still wanna say they could have deleted those vice couple scenes instead of ywy and Yezi revenge plotline. This drama could have been bigger with better editing. Farewell to this could have been a great drama. I can't even say I enjoyed the drama as a PXR fan. Idk. Maybe it just turned out really different from what I expected.

Now gonna wait for the next PXR drama. I hope I don't have to wait too long. 😭

We're finally on the intense scenes tho I can still feel the cuts. Great acting from xiaoran and fsf. I feel bad for them. They're so miserable. 😭 Yi wuyou is turning into real villain. At least he finally caught that scheming princess. I was really getting annoyed at her.

I think it was 36 ep then cut to 25 ep. Not sure if the original was really 40. Coz that's what's they're saying on weibo.

I read also that yezi/bailu is supposed to have an affair with ywy. Don't know if it's true. I remember the titles on yokou's youtube channel. "Empress fell for Prince." 😅 But it could also be a marketing strategy.
Really want to see the 40 ep version now. Is there any chance at all? 🥺

Can't help but wonder also how some fans know the original plot of the show. Is it just based on the original synopsis or were some able to view the original 40 episode version. 🤔

Now I understand why it seemed Yezi was calm those times when Rui was missing. They cut those parts where she showed hate towards ML. I feel bad for pxr she was blasted for being "flat" with her acting when in fact it was the editing that messed up the script and their roles. The intense moments were cut off so we couldn't see much. :(

This is what the original synopsis also stated. Ye Lingshuang went to Tianqi as Bai Lu for revenge because Rui died. No time travel was mentioned in the original synopsis.

I also read about that. Also some said that in the original plot, yezi already had alliance with ywy in the beginning and they both work together for the revenge. Not sure if they were talking about the book or the show tho.
