We finally meet Bale properly and I feel a bit let down. He’s a bit one dimensional, a soulless killing machine…
That’s how some killers are. He said himself, he kills because he wants too, it’s no deeper then that, and there is no deep back story to him, he’s just evil, and there are people like that in real life.
She was raised by an assassin! For the love of god! Use a bit of your brain to figure out how that might lead to how that might make her into the person she is today. Her uncle is an assassin not a damn nail tech.
That’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m sorry. She was raised by a man that was an assassin. What do you expect? You want her prancing around in pig tails with her nails done and shooting pink guns? That wasn’t the man she was raised by. He made that quite clear the day he brought her home when she fell. He isn’t a mom or a dad. You clearly aren’t watching the same drama as the rest as of us. He is anti social, he is a killer,, how did you expect her to be raised? You are be absolutely ridiculous and not taking taking into consideration the characters, their backgrounds, or the materials. All you care about is what you want out of a teenage girl.
Looks like Jin Man is alive as per next episodes synopsis. Excited! PS : I absolutely love LDW! He's been brilliant…
I’ve read the synopsis on Hulu and I did not gather that from it. Although I’m not denying that he is alive. What did you read that made you think he would be alive?
He's the driver in the hostage rescue, the cute guy we thought was Honda - but Honda seems to be another character…
I wonder if Jun Cheol stayed with Babylon is feeding Jin Man info from the inside. Especially since he called Jin Man to warn him Bale was alive and heading to the funeral home. And I noticed on the Asianwiki page you posted he is listed as being part of Babylon.

I thought the same thing. But when Jin Man got the call from Juncheol that his brother and sil were in danger, he then immediately texted Honda. So we know Honda is dead. But do we know what has happened to Juncheol? Have I missed anything? And I wonder why he isn’t in the cast list.
Who is Juncheol? He called Jin Man to tell him Bale was heading to the funeral home, and I think he name was mentioned in episode 6 after the fighting is over at the beginning when they are buy the vehicles. But I don’t see him shown in the cast list.
Jin Man took a picture of Ji An’s ID because he knew he needed her ID number then to reprogram his code at that…
True, clearly this has all been planned by Jin Man, and he wouldn’t have wanted it revealed in the beginning I guess that Jung Min had been there the day he “died”. It would have immediately made him a suspect. Especially because he was there when Jin Man committed suicide. Still, I don’t know why he let Jung Min get so close in the first place, especially when he would be getting close to Ji An and potentially hurt her. But I guess he needed to give Babylon a false sense of security that he was playing into their hands so he could lead them into his trap, and he was trusting that Ji An would be able to handle it, and that the precautions he had in place would help. But damn, he’s put in a lot of faith in a lot of things lol. But it’s movies, so sometimes we have to suspend disbelief a bit. I’m still enjoying it.
You’re right about the face mask. But also, someone mentioned to me about the medicine he took when he and Ji An went into the mountains and he got “sick” and then he made that call to someone and said that it was some good stuff. So could he have taken something?
And as for the police being involved. Someone has to be. That police man friend at the beginning is suspect for sure. He seemed really connected to Jin Man. And really stood up for him, and even knew about Jin Man saving him and the other high school friends when they were younger. He also brought Ji An to a particular funeral home/crematory place which I thought was strange. Oh, and he happened to be the one to pick her up when this happened.
So in episode 2, in what would maybe be called an extra scene/post credit scene, of the assassins of group 1,…
I don’t know why my brain never put together that the chip coincided with the color. Min Hye scans Jung Min and Ji An, Ji An is a color green. So if that’s are what the chips are for, then Ji An has to have one. When did she get it though???? She probably had some surgery when she was younger and it was inserted then, but how do you do that with her not even noticing it after?
As for your other theories. I guess maybe Babylon is going out on their own and no long wants to follow the “system” set up by the higher ups. I mean the shop can’t just serve Babylon. So there are other organizations out there. Ever see the John Wick movies? Maybe it’s like that. Like a large criminal organization made up of several groups, and Babylon has decided to break away from the larger organization. And removing the chip is his way of saying he is no longer a part of the “system”. Babylon is going rogue. They no longer have any respect for the system in place, or the colors they represent.
Sometimes we gotta just talk this stuff out to figure it out! lol
I guess it was just never very clear that Babylon was going rogue, nor very clear how big this world is outside of just Babylon. The appeared leader of Babylon, not Bern, but the older man, he did hint at higher ups I believe when he talked to Jin Man, but I don’t know if he was referencing higher ups at Babylon or people higher then Babylon. During my rewatch I need to pay better attention to that conversation.
This also leads me back to one of my other questions. How did Jin Man get set up in this lucrative business if he left Babylon. If this world is much bigger then Babylon (I know there is another drama connected to this, so maybe it is, but I was told it wasn’t necessary to watch) perhaps Jin Man had contacts with people within this criminal system that allowed him to set up this shop. So within this system he set it up legitimately as a shop to serve the criminals within this system.
And I’ll jump back on on the John Wick movies once more, in the very beginning, you learn this large criminal organization made up of multiple groups that has services such as medical, hotels, tailors, shops for weapons. I think this is very similar in theory.
