Okay it was brief. Thankfully! It looks like a version of that steamy opening scene is played out later in ep…
Okay, ep 17. That whole thing with the ex-wife blackmailing the ML saying that she'd ruin his and the FL's reputation...ummm, bitch you are PREGNANT WITH ANOTHER MAN'S CHILD! Who do you think would have the worse reputation if that truth came out? What kind of crap???
The fact that at the end of ep 16 the FL seems to believe the child was the ML's too just makes no sense either. She knows how psycho the ex-wife is AND she KNOWS she'd been having an affair so it should have automatically become apparent that the child wasn't the ML's and that the woman was pulling her crazy shit again.
I also don't get why the FL every gives the SML the time of day. Every time he opens his mouth I just want him to shut up and go away. Her interactions with him constantly piss me off. I'd tolerate him (and enjoy it) a lot more if she'd actually check him properly but she NEVER does!
I'm hoping - REALLY HOPING - that all of this is a plot the leads are acting out to accomplish some bigger goal. If so THAT would be more in line with the original level of writing for the story. There's no way they could both suddenly become so dumb. It just doesn't make sense!
Okay so episode 7 into 8 annoys me. It's my first strike against the drama. The FL, in her drunken state is at first honest about her feelings and expresses her happiness at the ML's sudden appearance, but then when she realizes her drunken mistake and that he's not actually the ML but one of his rivals. She starts trying to rebuff the dude but when the actual ML really does show up she, in front of the same guy she was just trying to get away from, acts like the ML is now pestering her and expresses that she wants him to leave her alone??? What kind of stupid shit?
This is the kind of bullshit writing that always takes away from a previously superb drama. It's been AMAZING in so many ways so far! Why do the writers always have to add dumb shit?!
I hope they turn it back around quickly and that my disappointment is brief.
Granted, the news of the SML's new 'relationship' didn't come out the next day but it was no more than a couple…
Oooh! What you've described makes SO much more sense! So much! I would have greatly preferred if they'd stuck to that original storyline. I'm so glad you shared! Thank you!
Granted, the news of the SML's new 'relationship' didn't come out the next day but it was no more than a couple…
LOL! It's okay! You're doing great with your English!
Luckily in this one she makes it clear at all times that the ML is the only person in her heart and she always puts him first. But she just wants the best of both worlds and it frustrates me. This wasn't just a little crush that she realized the SML had. She found out he literally changed his career path and moved out of the country to follow her. That's not something you take lightly. So continuing to ignore how strongly he felt for her was just infuriating to watch. She needed to cut him off firmly. She would reject him, yes, and she'd tell him to keep his distance but then she'd immediately accept whatever excuses he gave to get close to her again.
The ML tried pulling that whole self-sacrificing love type of crap where he thought he push her away to be with the SML because he thought he himself wouldn't be able to give her a future. I have to give the FL points for the fact that she wasn't letting that happen. So while she did a really bad job of handling the situation with the SML, she did a great job of making it clear to the ML and everyone around them that the ML was the endgame for her. It was him and no one else.
I just wish they would write it in a drama that a ML opens his damn mouth and tells the FL point blank that the SML is still very much in love with her and she needs to handle that shit properly and not expect him to just pretend like he doesn't know the man wants steal his woman. Know what I mean?
Granted, the news of the SML's new 'relationship' didn't come out the next day but it was no more than a couple…
Yes, and no. It's a bit more complicated. She genuinely only sees the SML as a friend and the ML knows that and knows how important the friendship between her and the 2 other guys is so he doesn't want to come between that but I also agree he's a damn simp.
She eventually has to put her foot down with the SML for a third time and he finally starts to move on but that doesn't happen until like ep 29 or something like that.
They just drag it out too much and the ML not saying anything about what he sees from the SML's behavior is a turnoff for me. Her constantly wanting to go back to just being friends with the SML like nothing ever happened is also a huge turnoff for me. That's my issue. She rejects him then thinks they can just move on like it was nothing big. Any excuse he gives to make it seem like he's moved on she blindly accepts as true because she wants to keep his friendship. It's selfish.
I'm trying to explain without giving too many spoilers. Sorry if it's confusing.
poor buddy :( I KNOW those symptoms for the past 50 years. Firstly, they need to understand and not treat him…
In a country where suicide is out of control the man has been fighting desperately to stay alive and is now being punished for it. Great message they're sending, right? I feel so badly for him.
Subs were good enough for me to at least be able to finish it and really, really like the drama. It seems to be the complete story. I don't see how there could be more to it either before or after either. They show them even years into their marriage later on so I'm guessing it's a compilation of both seasons.
This one caught me off-guard. The storyline was fresh and new for me in many ways and made it really enjoyable. The acting was really good too. Surprisingly so for a mini-drama.
I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Not at all. I was just looking for something to past some time but this actually impressed me.
I have always wondered why they dub voices. Can anyone explain this?
Based on my understanding it started mainly for China's censorship purposes - it's cheaper to dub over lines than reshoot entire scenes - then took on a life of its own from there where dubbing has it's own stream of famous voice actors and actresses. The amount of changes they have to make after going through censorship review can seriously be unreal. It's more cost effective to dub. Even if they use the real actor's voices (which often isn't the case) they'll still use voice overs throughout.
That's based on my limited knowledge though.
Someone more informed please feel free to correct me and/or elaborate.
I do suspect that it's all an act they're both putting on but I'm nervous as hell that I'm wrong and the drama will let me down.

At least that time when she rejected him it made sense to since she's not supposed to know he's already divorced.
