also another of my theories is that about the neck kissing scene in the trailer
in the 4th episode, i expect a lot of angst and Teh being in denial, trying to face his relationship with Tarn and his emotions towards Oh. Talking with his brother etc. but at the end, he comes to term with his emotions towards Oh and finds him, kisses his neck~~so that kissing comes after all of the angst. let's hope for that y'all....
For those who are unfamiliar, they already started at a show together prior to " I told sunset about you", in…
i read all of the 4 theory and i think they made sense because you talked about "moral lesson." it is the vibe that show gives because every scene and every diolouge means something in the context. i don't think they will leave us with such an empty ending, it will mean something and when you think about the ending more, it will make much more sense. death and Teh not accepting himself are such easy takes for the end. However, i think Teh will have to face his emotions towards Oh in the 4th episode, and we will witness those scenes for sure because he left alone Oh at the bedroom alone and if he doesn't face anything, there won't be any lessons. for the 4th one, isn't the first scene is Teh going to college and auditioning? so we already know Teh is accepted and i suppose he can't give his position later on, because we already saw him audtioning. am i missing something? other than that your last point about the ending scene makes sense a lot, but i'd rather to see a scene we haven't seen. let's hope for the best.
i actually thought about a sad and dramatic ending i want to share~~get your tissues ready
there is this plane ticket, we have no clue about it, and probably won't know until the end. Teh is taking the plane around the same time when Oh's exam results are being announced, but a tragic accident happens and Teh dies. Oh, on the other hand, of course, gets the result he wants and gets accepted but he can't be happy at all. However, he runs to the sun as he promised because it is the last thing he can do for Teh. But rather than shouting he got accepted to the sun, he shouts about the death of Teh and we see tears falling from his eyes and then end~~ this is too dramatic and i think it won't happen, but, it makes sense a lot when you considerate the title, Oh tells sunset about Teh.
This is one of the most detailed analysis I've read so far and might I say the most well put out. I agree with…
not my eyes getting teary after i read your ending. if they first make us sad and turn us into a wreck, then leaving with an ending like this i'll be crying much more because that is SO damn emotional omg.. and i can see this happening because in the 3rd episode when they become tired of running they sat on road, and sun was reflecting on Oh, but Teh was on the shadows. so I think they might play with that shadow*sun imagery again. why not? and i actually thought about a sad and dramatic ending i want to share~~get your tissues ready there is this plane ticket, we have no clue about it, and probably won't know until the end. Why is everyone assuming it will be a sad ending? Is there a youtube video where the director says that?
i replied another person like this: people on comments have many theories about the ending. overall everything in the series has some melancholy to it, don't you think? from ost to the aesthetic, from story to the title. i don't know.. i feel like they will end in such a melancholic way
i read somewhere that blue, a cold color, symbolizes Teh and red, a warm color, symbolizes Oh. Colors are opposite of each other, and their meaning is also the opposite. Teh actually is more relies to be extrovert but Oh is more introvert. While Teh is speaking up as much as he wants, Oh is more of a stripped back person. and the lights of this scene symbolizes Teh and Oh. they are in the same ocean, but far away and when one of them flashes while the other one is dark.
That's definitely a thing with Chinese wuxia dramas. The many names and characters can definitely get overwhelming…
that's right, i was overwhelmed. it shows that they put into a lot of effort from costumes to wigs to sets to cgi. i'll be watching again as soon as possible. thank you.
If I may ask, where are you watching this drama? Personally I prefer the subtitles on Viki, and I think subs do…
I actually watched in Turkish subtitles since I thought it'd be easier to understand but it seemed harder to understand actually. maybe I will watch with English subtitles, i'm capable of understanding with engsubs so why not trying it? and yes, i know the "bl" theme is not the main one in The Untamed but i still want to give it a try! i'm sure i will be hooked after understanding what is happening in the story and who is who. thank you.
in his instagram there are some photos of him with another guy, i think he is a queer person! this is so important and what we needddd!! more lgbt+ people in the industry.
my friend realized something and i want to show this to you too because it shows how well thought this show is. when they are on the beach a blue light is flashing (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EmQskESW4AIuSSR?format=jpg) and a red one is flashing (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EmQslfSXEAEim23?format=jpg) they are flashing one by one, and they are far from each other. do these lights remind you of something? :) no one can tell me these lights were put on accidentally.
I mean I don't know any other drama that doesn't start off without giving a bunch of names, especially if it's…
you're so right, and i mostly watch Thai stuff, not Chinese. maybe that's why names seemed hard to remember. I'm sure I'll get into it more if i watch the next episode, and of course, will understand more while watching it. maybe this was the comment that was going to push me to watch next episode :) thank youuu.
i was SO excited when i realized Khao was going to has his own show, when i watched the trailer i was even more excited because Pod is damn hot and they looked really nice. then Toptap and Mike appeared, my excitement went triple because they were one of the best bl couples ever, their chemistry is top-tier. however, after watching the second trailer i realized what we going to have is another gmmtv show with overused cliches. I'll still be watching this whenever i want to but i don't think this will introduce us to something worthy. that's sad. but anyways, i hope this won't be the case.
Why y'all so worried about the possibility that it might be a sad ending? Hehehe. I mean, based on the synopsis,…
i would want to feel my heart breaking into million pieces in a melancholic way rather than just feeling 'sad.' you feel me? even if they will give us a sad ending i hope it will be the best way they could make.
maybe accidentally but i i don't think something like this will happen
I'm watching the trailer again, I realized I didn't give any attention to the crying scenes. there is a lot of them and we didn't see any... what are we going to do next episode then?.... Tarn shouts Teh "you're afraid of other people would know?" Teh replies "what are you talking about?" Now I understand why waikiki said one of them might out the other. it makes sense now. maybe Tarn looks through Teh's phone and realizes something?? then in another scene Teh cries and also Oh cries too there is also a scene Oh asking to Teh "what's next about us?" in a happy way. and then there is that neck kiss part... WE ARE GOING TO BE TRAINWRECKS OH MY GOD.
