When LWX said that being wrongly accused cuts like a blade and she will always remember it. Wonder if WF will do that to her, wrongly accusing her of driving James to suicide. Even if she is SpadeQ, it might be a huge misunderstanding. So the angsty part also includes him trying to win her forgiveness.
Agree with you. I keep asking what's the point of the mystery thing. Maybe it is for LWX to find herself and what…
Same here - the soccer scenes are awesome to watch and they casted the students well. Most of the actors are in their 20s but they totally fit the high school vibe 😆
I look forward to watching RTS every morning. It is such a pleasure 💗 I love all of it including those adorable…
You know, I am just waiting for the angst...There's going to be some misunderstanding, she's going to find his board about her etc etc...But it will be a HE, has to be :)
I needed a break from rom-coms and was craving something action-packed, and this drama definitely delivered. It came with plenty of blood, brutal fight scenes, and more violence than I'm normally used to. I'm still adjusting to that level of intensity, but I have to admit—it had me completely glued to my screen.
And then there's So Ji Sub. He has such an enigmatic screen presence that even when his character isn't written to be particularly cool or mysterious, he still manages to command every scene he's in. It's hard to look away as he bulldozes his way through everyone in his path.
As expected, seeing Esther puts me in a good mood. Love her character - bold and smart but a little clumsy, and she just looks so pretty. Enjoying her chemistry with CJK - he's gorgeous. Story is good but I am not sure about the whole mystery thing...not really getting into it right now but everything else is so enjoyable, that I don't mind it.
《蒹è‘》is the lament of longing for a beloved tantalisingly out of reach, and one of the most famous love…
Thank you, your postings have been enlightening! I do hope that you write a review for this drama, even a compilation of all your previous postings would be helpful for others :D
I'm more inclined to believe in a happy ending, given the previews of all the remaining eps. You can find all…
I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. Your observations about the cases feeling more personal and grounded, rather than relying on huge conspiracies or palace intrigue, gave me an even greater appreciation for what the drama is trying to do. I hadn't thought about the comparison with Justice Bao, but now that you mention it, I can definitely see it.
I also hope you'll consider writing a full review when the drama finishes because I think this little gem deserves someone to do it justice, and I honestly think you'd be the perfect person. Your episode reactions already make me appreciate details that I might have overlooked.
I completely agree with your thoughts on the acting. Zhu Zhengting has been excellent—his micro-expressions are so natural that you really do experience the story through him. And Hankiz deserves a lot of praise too. Despite her character's icy, guarded demeanor, she conveys so much with just her eyes. Those tiny shifts in expression reveal vulnerability and softness long before the dialogue does.
And yes... the chemistry between them is incredible. They're both ridiculously easy on the eyes, but it's the way they play off each other that really makes every interaction so compelling. I'm thoroughly enjoying watching their relationship evolve.
Also... your "chipmunk on a sugar high" description made me laugh because I was the same watching episode 16. 😂
This was enjoyable! If you search for this on Youtube, you can find a series of 6 episodes where they compiled 3 10-minute episodes into one. This makes it flow better. The story of course is nothing original but the leads bring fun to their characters, and have chemistry. Also, the ending actually makes sense and leaves me satisfied.
For real. She’s a very talented (and supremely gorgeous) actress who just hasn’t gotten the right project…
I completely agree that she was great with Alen Fang but I put that show on hold after being annoyed by the second couple. I found them too vexing! I think I will try to finish it again- just fast forward through the annoying couple’s scenes :D
