I was excited about the cast, especially Taew, Jess, and August, and they certainly delivered strong performances. Overall, this is a well-executed psychological thriller, with solid directing, cinematography, and music that add to the atmosphere.

However, I found myself losing interest midway through as the plot became increasingly predictable. By the time the big reveal came, I had already figured it out, so it didn't have quite the impact I had hoped for.

That said, the story was intriguing enough in the beginning to draw me in, and despite its predictability, the overall quality of the production kept me watching until the end.

Not bad - I enjoyed it but I preferred the individual cases more than the overarching plot that involved the ML's back story. Great actors!

It was really good up to ep 23, and then stumbled, especially with the whole nonsense between the SML and the sister who was not punished enough. But I really liked the ending as well so still a high rating from me!

Trust the top “Most Helpful” reviews rather than the overall MDL rating on this one. I think this show is underrated, as many of the web series on this platform tend to be. They really need to be judged on their own terms and with slightly different expectations.

For me, this is one of the better ones. The leads are both known for their acting skills as well as their looks, and I thought the body-swap storyline was handled surprisingly well. It gave both actors a chance to show their range, especially in the way they were able to convincingly portray their characters while inhabiting the body of the opposite gender.

What I especially appreciated was that neither actor relied on caricatures or exaggerated mannerisms to sell the body swap. Their performances were much more subtle than that, while still making it clear which character we were actually watching. I thought they both did a really nice job with it.

One of the things I really like about this show is that everyone is flawed — including the leads. They may be focused on revenge, but they’re also constantly being swayed by their emotions and their hearts, which makes their choices much more interesting to me.

I’ve seen some criticism of the FL for agreeing so readily to marry the SML. Yes, it’s obvious that she doesn’t love him, but I think she genuinely believes that he can help her get the revenge she wants. His sincerity did probably move her a bit, but ultimately, it’s still her vendetta that is driving her decisions. I also don't think she thought the two mothers would actually go through with the plan.

And that’s actually what I find compelling. She isn’t necessarily making the smart choices, and her motivations aren’t always clear. She’s making choices based on what she wants most right now - revenge against the ultimate villain and spite against that Madam Hu.

I'm just finishing ep 21 and amid the drama between the FL, ML, and SML, I am glad that the eldest sister took control of her fate. I hope things work out for her and loved one but the aftermath for the ones left behind like her mother is sad even if it ended being cathartic for her. And how about the Pei family losing their heir...will the family accept them back?

It was an intro that showed him to be popular among the women but he did not actually display any despicable or shady playboyish actions other than being friendly with all.
I am actually not sure the cause of the obsession but what was shown very obviously was how sincere he was towards FL.

Poor Li CongXin - so kind and sincere. Not only does he not get his love but he also gets schemed into a trap.

This is a stressful watch - so much scheming and the leads having to watch their backs all the time…but it is so good!!!

Just finished eps 20 and 21 - and my heart is bursting with romance. Beautiful couple and MZY looked so beautiful! And the ML is such a sneaky green flag 😁

This was a fun watch, but it did get a bit draggy after a while. At some point, it became tiring watching the writers constantly try to show how clever the ML was, with one plot twist after another where he manages to outmaneuver everyone by thinking several steps ahead.

Overall, though, I enjoyed it. The face card was definitely a plus—and thankfully, they can act too!

Fun way to end the show and I love the way they resolved the conflicts. Bo Na is lucky to have found someone like Tae Song and he's lucky to have a great friend like Dong Jin.

I just finished it and like you said, there was a nice turnaround story. I just wished that the MIL actually did get over the general prejudice against orphans but even though it was not addressed directly, I still love that she became the FL's biggest fan :D

I agree with the others - this show is so underrated. The actors are doing an excellent job and the story is engaging and interesting. I am just finishing up ep 9 and I cannot believe the mother-in-law. It's so hurtful for Bo Na, and it's sad that prejudice against orphans and adopted children in South Korea is deeply rooted.

Excellent watch! I almost want it to have more episodes so I can see Film and Bua deliver more angst. They both are so good with emotional scenes, and talented actors overall. The supporting cast did a great job too, especially the actors playing the younger versions of Yai and Ran. As expected we have the evil shrieky mother and clingy nang rai but given the short length of the drama, they weren't too irritating. Overall I would recommend.

Thanks! I am grateful that the streaming platforms are airing more Japanese dramas especially the older ones. There's definitely a different flavor to the Japanese ones which I enjoy :)
