The comedy is nicely woven throughout the scenes, adding just the right touch of humor without ever disrupting the flow of the story.

Dilraba is perfect for this role. It honestly feels like she’s earned her place as a truly queenly sovereign after all her previous characters. She carries the role with such natural poise and confidence, and there’s a commanding elegance in the way she holds herself. With so much emphasis on the eyes when portraying her spirit power, hers are absolutely mesmerizing.

Both Dilraba and Chen Fei Yu have such good chemistry with almost all their leads and it’s the same in this show. They look so good together.
I wonder if Miles Wei”s character is going to be SML in a love triangle or is he going to covet He Simu’s position as the Sovereign?

This wasn’t too bad - I was mainly pulled in by the ML who carrried the show with his acting and visuals. The FL was lovely too but she just didn’t match the intensity that the ML brought or her character portrayal demanded. Overall though, she was ok. I don’t expect much from short drama when it comes to plot execution and this pretty much met my low expectation for that.

This couple is just so adorable, and the way their friends support them! Made me smile so much though these past few episodes.

I love how Xu Xiao would always look at Xiao Cen after he said something smart - like "Did I impress her?"

True - this show felt relatable because it highlighted human nature so well.
MDL should really have a rule in place to prevent people from leaving reviews until the show finish airing. For those dropped, they should at least watch a few episodes before judging.

Binged through the express and came out satisfied! I hope more people will enjoy this show and leave some good reviews. People who only watched one episode have no business leaving reviews.

Binged through all 12 episodes and I simply am enjoying this show. Nothing original but it is just so soothing, watching two reserved but lovely people enter each other's world and being drawn to one another. The awkwardness is relatable and the hesitation is understandable.

I hope the plot stays simple and they give us a wonderful HE.

I am getting somewhat impatient with RYC...she just will not let anyone in. I don't know if it is to protect the others but I wish the show would take a different take on that. Instead of the usual cliched noble idiocy, can't she be smart enough to include them so that they know what to watch out for.

Wow, BLL has really lost it, stuck in her own reality, with her as the only victim. I am so worried that she is going to use the Xu guy against RYC. I don't trust her or put it past her to do something vile.

All the villains are just so delusional including the Bai grandmother who conveniently forgot how she abandoned her own grandson.

That Jiang Dong Chao is the worst - I don't know how RYC can control herself. Can't someone hire a hit on him?!

For both BLL and YC, their parents failed them. Especially YC where those secrets translated into hate for the father. YC at least is still a "good person" but BLL really spiraled into darkness.

I am in love with Xie Zheng all over again - his confession in front of his parents...❤️ This couple just gives me all the feels.

I swear the show included the romance between Qimin and QianQian to indulge the ones who like mini dramas...their dark relationship with tragic undertones...delicious!
