This was really concise. And I agree with you on everything. For any seasoned actor on the project, this was a step down in quality of storytelling to participate in. The plot for this is water thin and substanceless.

And yeah, I look forward to Tell the World I Love You whenever it becomes available to international audiences.

I would just give you the merch. In fact, that's a great idea! I'm a comic artist and I might be moved to throw together some "I H8 Cutie Pie" Images that folks can download and use however they want.

Yes. Yes many of us do. And when the show is over I will publish mine as a review. It's been hard research, sitting through this dreck on a weekly basis. However, I will say that the material towards that conclusion was plentiful.

Wow. Someone doesn't read thoroughly because many of us qualify our opinions in detail. Some of us cite very specifically and even quote lines from the show while doing it. And we've all explained why we're still here watching it even though we don't like it at one point or another. If you can't understand after all the effort people have gone to in order to make it clear, then I can't help you.

You also missed how this wasn't a fan page, so it doesn't matter if you understand why the critical comments are piling up. They just are. It's a comments section. That's just sometimes how it is.

If you think the show is great, that's your right. But anyone who thinks this show is worthless outside of it's technical execution is also well within their right to say so. You should be discussing those supposed good things you barely mentioned. Instead of complaining that you don't like other peoples' opinions on Cutie Pie.

And you need to understand that your opinion on Cutie Pie doesn't affect the validity of other peoples' opinions. Whether those opinions make sense to you, whether they make you mad. whether the users posting here criticize Cutie Pie for stuff they let pass on other dramas, whether they compare Cutie Pie unfavorably to other dramas, it's all welcome. All of it. All opinions on this weird, inconsistent, poorly plotted, toxic trash fire of a show are welcome.

I'm thinking you may not actually have that many good things to say about the show since you filled an entire big post with criticisms of other peoples' opinions on the show instead of actually spending your words complimenting a show you supposedly like.

Repeating an entire cycle of mediocre themes and incoherent plot? Or the whole weekly MDL thing where we post our criticisms and then several people freak out that?

Actually almost everyone who has criticized his acting has specified it's because he's new to it.

Cumulatively, each 3 minutes of screen time somehow added up to a more cohesive a story than all the time spent on the others.

That's awful. But at the same time, I can't imagine how they would have told the story without Tofu being central to everything. (trying to imagine a story where Tofu was a minor character)

Netflix is stupid then. Because They've been losing money each quarter for a while now and hemorrhaging members. What's the harm in rewarding the ones who have stayed with something anyone could guess we would dearly want?

That's an interesting way to look at it. I know when I see In and Job on my IG and suddenly get a bit sad, I imagine the ending I wanted. And maybe that's the most important thing.

But what did you mean when you said it wasn't made in very good faith?

I know very little about Deathnote. But I do wish they had changed the ending so that Tofu got a miracle for himself. He didn't want to go. You can see it in Tharn's hospital room in episode 15 when Tofu faces up to the fact that he can't stay. It's heartbreaking.

So yeah, I wanted one last miracle for him. I'm not angry at the ending. Just sad a bit.

I told someone that earlier. That we haven't recovered yet as individuals but we're helping each other as a community. This wrecked me, but sharing that with other fans who get it and people who loved Tofu helps a lot.
