Title Strangers Again Spoiler
apparently I'm live commenting on this as I watch. Because Ha Ra's mother's response to finding out Eum Beom's…
omg yeah! That was my first thought while watching that scene. Her mom had a more realistic reaction than Ha Ra....

Title Strangers Again Spoiler
Eun Beom should sincerely consider getting a therapy for his childhood trauma. I can understand him not wanting to have children. But this line: "I don't want to have a baby. It's too scary that a family you can't cut ties will be created" would have totally destroyed me if I were Ha Ra. I would always be scared and anxious that he's ready to leave if things get hard. Just like he did in the past.

It's not just the communication between them, but also Eun Beom's mental health issues which need to be addressed further and treated professionally. No way only proper communication will solve that.

And is Eun Beom really breaking up with her because of that phone call with her mom? There wasn't actually enough convo, for him to conclude that it was about him. And even if it was, maybe Ha Ra also just wanted to calm her mother EXACTLY like he did on the phone call he had shortly before her...

Just two episodes left. I really don't know how they want to end this drama.

we still have 3 eps left. i mean there's still an unfolding past story that is still not revealed yet.
That might be true, but I still think they don't fit as a couple. They are too different or rather they want to live too different. Neither should have to give up the life they actually want.

Main couple should just let it be and break up!! Hopefully they are strangers by the end of this drama. Would be the only reasonable ending imo. Ha Ra with a husband and a baby. And Eun Beom with someone who shares his values as well.

The conversations and quarrels they have now are not really something I expected from a couple who were together for more than 10 years. Feels like they didn't communicate each other at all what they wanted from life. They have absolutely different values and goals. I don't see a future for them. I actually find both of them not quite likable. But as someone who has similar values to Ha Ra, I can understand her a bit more. But... she should just accept that he doesn't want what she wants and MOVE THE F*** ON!

And I just can't feel that Eun Beom loves Ha Ra. I don't know why he chose to get back together. Despite Jang Seun Jo's lovely melo eyes, there is nothing romantic about Eun Beom lol He seems to be a really pessimistic person in regard to love. Maybe he doesn't actually believe in love. It seems he thinks every relationship is doomed, even the more with a child.

....But I'm still so sad about not liking Jang Seung Jo's first lead role in a romance drama. I want him to have a better role next time, pleasssseee!! His acting is so good and eyes are so melo dreamy *-* I want him in a another romantic drama T-T

I guess I'll just watch it for the cases and acting now. I really don't like how they wrote both main leads and their relationship development is really unnatural. A shame because I really love the cast and was so excited for Jang Seung Jo in a romance role ๐Ÿ˜ข

I just can't understand how Ha Ra is trying to get back with him after all the things he did to get a divorce. Doesn't she have any dignity? Why is she the one who's desperately trying to get back with him if it should be the other way around? ....
I could totally understand her, if he actually:
1. Apologized sincerely
2. Told her the whole truth behind the divorce, how he felt while being married
3. Tried to reconcile first

And Eun Beom.... I just don't know with him. I can't seem to feel that he is still in love with Ha Ra.

One thing that i dont like in this drama is how they use the background music to try to make funny things that…
Agree! They tone down the seriousness of a lot of heavy topics/incidents by trying to make them funny or comedic... and it's not working for me. Not just with annoying music, but also with acting, behaviour etc.

Weirdly despite others saying that ep 7 is the episode by far, I disliked it the most... Don't know why but I feel the emotions or actions of the characters feel so off to me. I just don't like any of the characters, because their behaviour feels too unnatural and superficial to me. I really don't know how to explain eloquently what I mean.

I think I'd like this drama much more if there wouldn't be any comedy at all. The overall plot, side stories and cases are much heavier topics than what they are trying to show here and would fit better in a serious-toned drama...I'm quite disappointed because Kang So Ra and Jang Seung Jo would have definitely nailed a more deep and serious themed drama. Their acting is superb!

How Ha Ra found out about her fathers affair and secret family was so absurd and anti climatic. Just like how she found out that Eun Beom didn't cheat on her and faked his affair to get a divorce. Her almost nonchalant, fast accepting nature just seems like not a real person.

And the preview is totally throwing me off. For me Eun Beom didn't show a glimpse of romantic feelings for Ha Ra in all the episodes so far... And she wants him back? Why on earth would you get back with this guy? I just can't understand her... If he showed romantic feelings or even remotely that he wants to get back together or even tried hard to reconcile... then okay, I could understand. But he just doesn't seem interested in her anymore.

Yes, he does care for her, but I couldn't feel any lingering romantic feelings whatsoever. I'm just really lost with Eun Beom and how he feels. I feel that we don't know anything of his inner feelings...

Can anyone follow where I am coming from? Or maybe I'm alone in this matter ๐Ÿ˜‚

Title Shut Up: Flower Boy Band Spoiler
This is the quickest a drama has ever broken my heart lol. Years later and I am still unable to move past that…
I can relate. I also needed a break before I watched beyond that episode. I watched this drama back when it was airing and his death hit me so hard and unexpected. I couldn't finish it in one go after they killed off the best character. But after the break I watched it again and I still really liked it. Give it a try :)

Title Reply 1988
This show gets so many positive reviews and comments that I'm sometimes wondering if we have watched the same…
Reply 1988 and Hospital Playlist are character driven stories, so they don't really have any "real" storyline going on. There is no built up of a story, but rather more insight of the characters and their lives. Maybe it's just not your taste or none of the characters appeal to you. Sometimes you also just need to be in the right kind of mood.

But I can relate. Sometimes it's frustrating if I just can't get to like a drama which everyone seems to love and praises ๐Ÿ˜…

Title Our Blooming Youth Spoiler
I liked that the FL is not shown as the perfect daughter of a good family doing her duty by marrying for the sake…
Yes exactly! This drama has 20 episodes. They have the time for proper introduction. I was also confused why everyone believed that adopted sibling right away or why they even thought that he's her lover...

And I guess I'm spoiled by AOS seasons great fight scenes, that this one just looked hella lame to me ๐Ÿ™ˆ I hope she improved in the later episodes, if she has more fight scenes...

I'm not saying that I don't like the FL. But there was none to little introduction to her before the murder incident, so I didn't feel any connection to her pain or her family members' deaths. The small snippet as a kid is the only thing we got. She's not that ladylike, but tried hard for the marriage. I'd have loved to see that in a scene. A proper introduction to her character before everything unfolded, so that I can actually get connected and feel her pain.

And her fights were not so far up... maybe I'm too spoiled with other great fighting scenes lately, but it was weak and sometimes looked awkward.

well, that similarities you mentioned you can pretty much find in other kdramas too lol. I wasn't captivated by…
True. Maybe because I watched the other drama not so long ago and it's still fresh in my mind, that's why I was reminded of it in particular. But as you say, not really fresh or unique....

Title Our Blooming Youth Spoiler
I was not really captivated by the first episode. It was okay... The families' murder unfolded kind of fast and it was really unemotional because we didn't have connection to any of the characters yet. Would have been great to show us at least some happy family scenes or the FL trying hard to become a proper wife like it is stated in the description, so that I can have a bit of emotional connection to their deaths and female leads tragic situation. But I didn't feel a thing. If all of this would've happened after proper character introduction, maybe it would have been better. The small snippet in their childhood didn't really help.

And even tho I really liked Jeon So Nee in "When My Love Blooms", her acting fell kinda flat for me in the first ep. Especially the fighting and running scenes. I like that she is a strong woman with fightings skills, but the fights looked really weak imo. She doesn't look fierce at all and her fighting posture looked awkward. You could totally tell that there is a stunt double when the scenes cut in between the fights. That's why it was kinda ridiculous how she managed to fight off so many palace warriors ๐Ÿ˜… And how come she had such a bad stamina while running even tho she's so athletic?

It also kinda reminded me a bit of "The forbidden marriage". It has a bit similar story plots. Royal prince/king, close friendship, fiancee of friend, love triangle, fl tragic past, pretending to be someone else etc... and funnily Kim Woo Seok is playing a role here as well... maybe he was a cameo.
The similarity is not a bad thing tho. Just pointing it out, that it reminded me of the other drama.

Well, was just the first episode. I looking forward to tomorrow :)

I highly agree with your last sentence!I felt something was off while watching ep, but I didn't know how to describe…
Yes! I was also looking out for someone who can describe how I feel about this episode better than I do. And I felt relieved reading your comment, because you expressed so good!

I was waiting the whole time for Ha Ra's outburst of emotions, but then Eun Beom had the audacity to lash out on her >_<

Hmm, I kinda felt uncomfortable watching episode 4. I'm not really liking any of the characters at the moment or rather I could hardly understand how the characters are behaving or feeling.

What Eun Beom did to Ha Ra is so horrible, even if there is another "truth" behind it that we don't know of. They were together for more than 10 years...this is not a short time. Faking an affair and then telling her, that he was sick of married life with her and not wanting to have kids, which is probably another lie or maybe not the whole truth. This is not much better than having an actual affair. I wouldn't be surprised if that would actually traumatize Ha Ra and her being unable to have a normal relationship again. I can actually understand Ha Ra being "petty" or immature. She's hurt, because she still loves him.

I'm really lost with Eun Beom tho... I don't feel that he still loves Ha Ra. He hooked her up with his friend and doesn't seem jealous in comparison to Ha Ra. I'm really curious what he's actually feeling. I just can't comprehend how someone can be like that to someone he still"loves".
If he's now even playing daddy for that woman's girl... after telling everyone he doesn't want kids... that would make me dislike him more >_<
And him lashing out on Ha Ra when that kid had an accident.. phew.... that was just wrong. Yeah, he might've a traumatic experience which can explain his behaviour. Still doesn't justify it.
I don't have any empathy with Eun Beom. Maybe because we didn't see more of his side and story yet. I can't seem to root for his happiness.
But I sooo love Jang Seung Jo and waited for him to be a lead in a romance drama T-T Please redeem him... writer!! No, why they make me dislike the role he's playing :'(

I don't like or feel any of the couple as of now. SML is too cringe and corny otherwise I'd have loved Ha Ra to have someone who is head over heels for her... but his character is so unappealing to me. They just have no chemistry whatsoever.

ML and SFL seemed to be just friends... the sudden invite to be her girl's dad had me kinda perplexed. We don't know much about them and their relationship yet.

Well, let's see where this drama is going. Good that there are just 12 episodes.

bro okay till now i was trying to understand GEB but after his unreasonable outburst at Ha Ra and the audacity…
I highly agree with your last sentence!
I felt something was off while watching ep, but I didn't know how to describe it.
But your wording is on point "minimizing the magnitude of the issue"!

I didn't like or could hardly understand how the characters are behaving. What Eun Beom did to Ha Ra is so horrible, even if there is another "truth" behind it that we don't know of.

I just can't comprehend how someone can be so cruel to someone he actually loves. They were together for more than 10 years.
First he let her believe that he had an affair and know she thinks, that she's unbearable to be with. I wouldn't be surprised if that would destroy all of Ha Ra's confidence and her being unable to have a relationship again.

The writers are totally downgrading this situation by showing Ha Ra being too nonchalant with Eun Beom and writing Eun Beom to be this pitiful and submissive.

Can someone tell me whatโ€™s the song that Hu YouYu sings in ep 32 at 18:20?
It's called Fearless by Ma Di (้ฆฌ้ ”). The original song is really beautiful and the lyrics as well!

It's the OST from drama "Go Ahead". Both Go Ahead and Meet Yourself are from the same writer and director hence why there are some reference to Go Ahead sometimes.
If you like Meet Yourself, you will enjoy Go Ahead as well :)
