Seems like Gorya's brother is more in love with Thyme than she is. Love how Thyme built such a precious bond with Gorya's brother and cooks him food all the time *-*
I know I shouldn't have started this immediately after it started airing... I knew I would regret it cause I have to wait every week for new episodes... and I'm not just liking it... I LOVE IT! Ugh... Why can't I be patient and wait for dramas to be finished before starting it >_<
The second episode was so good and the leads chemistry is amazing! The ending of that episode was so beautiful and Hee Do is so beautiful and cheerful... I would have fallen for her too, because just look at her!! She's gorgeous and sweet!
I joined Viki in 2011 when it wasn't that big as it is now. I was also a translator for some Kdramas until I didn't…
No problem, I'm delighted that u take ur time to answer all the responses to your comment so respectfully :) I guess for me Viki isn't just a site to watch dramas or movies... It's different from Netflix, youtube etc. because it has that kind of community where everyone can contribute if they want. The translations, the segments, managing the drama sites, even commenting with time stamps on the episodes. It's a lot of fun if you're part of it. Nowadays it's kinda sad because a lot of people complain that they want the subs faster, so the fan translators feel rushed and maybe that even takes the fun out of it. But I guess a lot of people still have fun doing it. Because I know I had a really happy time back then as a translator and enjoyed it when people liked my translations and thank me for it.
I know that you're thankful to the fan translator and I understand your point of view. I also like to watch my dramas with subs as soon as possible. But if they hire translators, then you would have your subs on time, but the community would be gone... and then we just have another site like Netflix, Kocowa, Hulu etc.
I've just posted this on Viki. They absolutely won't approve it, so I'm posting it here. To say I'm pissed off,…
I joined Viki in 2011 when it wasn't that big as it is now. I was also a translator for some Kdramas until I didn't have the time anymore. As a translator you were given the free pass to watch all dramas even the ones limited in some countries. Not sure if that's still the case tho. That's how the translators were rewarded for subbing. Because back then it was kinda hard to get high quality access and subs to dramas. So the thing u complain about, that they don't hire or pay translators is weird, because the fan translations are actually the whole concept of Viki and how it started. Viki gave people a platform to make it really easy to translate and people made a big community out of it. And I had a hell lot of fun doing translations and being a part of that community.
Nowadays there is a lot of access to asian dramas and subs. So I guess that's why people complain, because there is competition which has faster subs... So they are used to that kind of speed now. I still remember when I had to wait a week or more for one episode of my fave dramas with subs. But the thing is... if Viki would hire translators, then the community there would be gone and Viki wouldn't be Viki. You would understand if u were one of the translators, segmenters or site managers there.
And if I may add... Viki's translations are mostly really good and accurate translations, so sometimes it's worth the wait.
I didn't watch the last two episodes and I think I won't ever watch them. But I want to know... did Young Ro's friends, who turned their backs on her, redeem themselves in the end?
A drama is not well balanced when there are more annoying and hateful characters than likable ones. And this one is definitely not well balanced... even the screen time of annoying characters is like 85% and increases by every episode, so the urge to skip is huge which I did a lot the last two episodes.
The main leads being so pitiful and helpless makes it even worse... one misfortune after another and it doesn't stop. Viewers don't have time to breath or feel relieved. It's said that this drama is romance, but it actually isn't at all. The couple got like 10% of screen time the last 8 episodes or so. The hostage situation was thrilling in the beginning but now it's just kinda boring... especially with all those overbearing annoying characters.
Well I'm not too excited for the next episodes as the preview just shows no sign of development.
Hello I'm kind of new to Thai dramas and I have a question: How come the characters' short nicknames often sound nothing like their full names? In this drama the shortened names that I can understand are Ren for Renrawin Aira and M.J. for Methas Jarustiwa... but the other ones are nothing like their real names. Do Thai people have two names?
I believe you really dislike Ji Ung, because a lot of your comments are hate-related to him. Well, your opinion...…
Okay, maybe we just see his actions differently then. For me he tried really hard to control himself and hide his feelings. For you it seems like excuses, but in the end his actions never included pursuing YS or sabotaging CW and YS's relationship. I feel like it's actually the other way around, he helped them rekindle their relationship. Maybe JW fooled himself, but he never interfered with his best friend's relationship.
And yeah, I also don't know why he has this unbreakable love for YS, but sometimes it's like this and you just can't get over a person.
I believe you really dislike Ji Ung, because a lot of your comments are hate-related to him. Well, your opinion...…
Ah okay, I see what you mean. It's true that their friendship is not all roses right now and both of them are not honest with each other. And I say both because it's Ji Woong for not telling Woong what he feels for Yeon Soo and Woong for not wanting to hear anything about Ji Woong's feelings towards Yeon Soo.
Because Ji Woong definitely wanted to come clean when he came drunk that night to Woong, but Woong didn't want to hear anything.
They both know of Ji Woong's feelings, but neither of them are honest. Honesty would be the first step to rekindle the relationships.
I believe you really dislike Ji Ung, because a lot of your comments are hate-related to him. Well, your opinion...…
Okay, but he did tho? He avoided any contact with her since he knew she's dating Woong. He never went out together to eat with them, he ignored her, when she asked for a ride... how exactly is this not avoiding?
I believe you really dislike Ji Ung, because a lot of your comments are hate-related to him. Well, your opinion...…
Well, okay, if that's how you feel about him. For me his character isn't black or white. That's exactly the reason I love this how, because humans just are not angels and everyone has their faults. And I feel that he tried his best as he could have done. Well, maybe he could've been more honest, but that's what I would say to everyone in this drama, except for NJ, she's the only honest and straightforward person of the leads XD
So your resolution would be to break apart their friendship and this is where I think completely different. Both of them are soulmates... even an episode was dedicated to their friendship. They are both lonely and abandoned souls and found comfort in each other. Both of them don't want to destroy that bond and u can see that. The least I would hope for them, is to see their precious friendship break over this.
I believe you really dislike Ji Ung, because a lot of your comments are hate-related to him. Well, your opinion...…
Well yeah, I do like JW :D There is actually no character in this drama, that I dislike. They are all really humane and relatable, so I like all of them.
Can you explain me how exactly JW behaved for you to hate him? I'm just curious which actions of his deserves so much hate. As I said, feelings aren't really something one can control, but I think JW tried really hard to get rid of his feelings for YS. In the flashbacks he avoided her as much as he could, even now in the next preview, you can see how he's trying to avoid her. In the past he tried to meet other people, he deleted her contacts, had as little contact to YS as he could have...
And TBH, yeah I would try to keep an important friendship of more than 20 years if I would be Woong. Woong seems to think the same :)
Ep 11. Ji ung is so messed up. He wont tell openly that he loves yoonsoo to ung. He just wants ung to admit that…
I believe you really dislike Ji Ung, because a lot of your comments are hate-related to him. Well, your opinion... but he actually never did anything to pursue Yeon Soo, so I don't get the hate towards him. He's still crushing on her, because well... you can't control your heart, but you can control your actions and he never did anything remotely to pursue her.
And he definitely wanted to tell Ung the night he came drunk to him, but Ung said, he doesn't want to know. That's actually harsher for Ji Ung, because he definitely wanted to come clean that night.
