I just wanna drop nuke on Yulje and hit the restart button, this supposed to be medical drama with 4 rookie doctors…
HP was no romance drama, but still had 5 or so couples... why are people surprised about a bit of romance in playlist/playbook universes? Just skip those 5 min romance per ep, if it's not your cup of tea lol It's not that much anyway...
Yay, Lee Jae Wook is back! Fingers crossed this one's actually good. His last drama was meh... I honestly can’t handle seeing amazing actors stuck in terrible scripts, it’s almost physically painful to watch lol Also Kim Jae Wook is here!! So excited!
I am rooting for Yiyoung & Dowon. People interpret this week's preview differently. Some say it is more of her…
I really thought the writers would fool us with this love-line, but watching the new released clip of I Yeong and Do Won in the car. You know she's crushing on him and he finds her hilarious and loves to tease her... That is definitely not one-sided haha
I'm really getting my hopes up with this ship. I know we won't get "romance" scenes, because this is no romance drama, but I'm content with having both of them on screen haha
Just started this and I'm already on episode 4. So far, it's pretty good! :D
I hesitated at first, since as a romance fan, I'm not really a fan of Ren Jia Lun’s "no-kiss-scenes" policy, so I usually avoid his romance dramas 😅 I don’t need skinship to enjoy a drama, but when it comes to romance, I do at least hope for a kiss scene. Well, but I’ve watched enough dramas that worked perfectly fine without one, so I’m giving this a shot. So far, I’m really enjoying it and I love that they’re using their real voices!
im confused, why can't dr cha use jae il as his back up in the 2nd ep? in the last scene, she was happy that she…
The seniors wanted them to rest a bit, since they couldn’t even eat or sleep properly, which we see in the beginning of ep.2. But knowing Jae Il, who’s always overly active and tends to do more than necessary, she probably decided to pull him out completely, so that he can take a break? 😅
I rewatched the first two episodes and ended up liking them even more the second time around! ❤️
There are so many hidden details, which I find super interesting. For example, in the scene where the residents eat cake, they all use different utensils and I completely missed that at first! On rewatch, I realized how that tiny detail reflects each of their personalities. It’s such thoughtful, well-crafted storytelling and honestly, one of the things I’ve always loved about the whole Playlist/Playbook universe. I’m so happy to see that same attention to detail in this spinoff too.
And I seriously can’t help but ship I Yeong and Do Won… their dynamic and chemistry are just so good!!! But knowing these writers, they’re probably setting us up to be fooled. The preview definitely gave me that feeling 🥲
Can I watch this if I hadn't followed Hospital Playlist?
Yes! Their stories are unrelated, but just in the same setting. But I still recommend HP seasons :D Really good drama and their cameos here will feel like easter eggs 😁
I really enjoyed the first two eps! :D I'm so excited for next episodes!!! ❤️
Also watching the first episode, I thought I was delulu by shipping Yeong with Do Won, but maybe I'm not?! Their chemistry is so good! And the way Yeong looked at him after he stood up for her in that OP room... Was that just respect and gratefulness?? No way, she had hearts all over her face lol Literally, Go Youn Jung's eyes were so dreamy in that scene haha
There are worse things happening in the world such as genocides and people gleefully celebrating them. Some people…
Okay?
Sure, there are more serious issues in the world... no argument there. But we’re on a drama discussion platform, not an international news forum. Pointing out how quick people are to judge a show based on ONE episode isn’t me equating it to global tragedies, it’s just an observation about this specific community and how hasty some can be.
People are absolutely free to rate however they like, but I can still find it a bit premature and say so. Both things can coexist without downplaying real-world problems.
At the end of the day, we’re all just here to share thoughts on dramas. A little kindness and patience, both with shows and with each other, wouldn’t hurt.

I'm hopeful for this one :D

Also Crushology 101 having higher rating than RP is everything you need to know about ratings on MDL haha 😂
