Therefore, shaking his heart making him fall for her at that moment. Beautiful scene. I love how they kept most of the scenes from the novel. It’s so cute.

Man, I wanted Wan wan to take over so bad Lol my imagination didn’t go that far it stopped at when she announced her pregnancy in the modern world ending lol But I do agree, XD would still have power either way with the other two endings. I’m sure he has backup plans for days and has his men planted wherever he is or is heading to 🤣🤣 that imagination just popped up in my head as I’m typing 😅😆 and yes Yin lou is finally free. Aww thank you lol I feel I rant nonsense. I just admire the acting how they portray the characters. I like Bu Yin Lou’s character a lot the actress did an amazing job. And yes I believe this is the only drama I’ve seen where they escaped from the palace with backup plans and taking all of their men. I’ve seen other ancient dramas where they were caught and banished. I don’t know. some parts of this drama may be boring and annoying but it gets better. I think this will be my last ancient Chinese drama. It’s hard to find a good one like this. I think the editing and ending of this drama is what screwed it over could have been so much more. I see what the director was doing when he had xiao duo refer to one of the alternative endings which I kinda like. It was also in the trailer to. He was hinting it all along.

I concur 100% that is why I love this drama. I also like the fact the two leads were able to outsmart everyone in the palace until the end. It takes a lot to escape the palace I’ve seen so many ancient Chinese dramas where people try to escape the palace and they either both end up dying and the other one lives or even not escaping at all they have to lose something in return (they might have lost their statuses but hey XD still saved a lot of money lol he had a backup plan every time ) I like that they still win either way and it saddens me that people don’t see how they try to execute this drama. You still feel the love even though scenes were deleted, you could feel all the emotional rollercoaster ride through the dialogues and acting. I guess I just love how smart the two leads are and how they understand each other like even the viewers who likes this drama could feel it (to me, it’s rare to find a cdrama like that) It’s like we could trust them if you will. I apologize for rambling on, but I can’t get enough of this drama I just love the chemistry and meaning of the drama it can be relatable to real life. I just love that he says in ep 32 or 33 (not sure) how he refers to the modern world where they could live together and there’s no royalties, no statuses, no maids or servants another world where they are they will always love each other forever. It’s so meaningful in my opinion. I’m sorry my rant here is done 😂

P.S that cherry scene broke my heart I was so hurt for the both of them and when she picked it up from the floor and ate it crying in silence. I felt her pain not only did she hurt him by stab his heart making it bleed, she also threw her own heart to the ground shattering it to pieces to only slowly picking it up one by one gathering herself together.

Ugh I will so waste my money this drama when it’s on dvd 🤣

They gave us all the emotions of a rollercoaster. I love this drama mostly because of the chemistry of the main leads and how they brought the characters to life, and I felt their love,struggle, and pain with a side of comedy.

Wasn’t really comedy but when Cao Chunang passed out on Xiao Duo’s shoulder and everyone thought he died. I teared up a bit then saw Xiao Duo’s face and his hands feeling for his pulse. I was like freakin Cao Chunang I want my tears back!

I find that part cute because we also understood his expression but knew he was messing with her just like they understood their knocking. 😂

Their first time in the novel hurt me as well that’s why I was looking forward to how the drama would execute it. And they did it just right only to have it deleted.

Damn y’all the full version of the kiss scene on the boat is so freakin intense I see why they delete it but still I feel like it’s the most important crucial scene to keep like the other cute kissing scenes okay cut it but this one was like a wtf why cut it moment for me. I honestly wouldn’t have cared for the cute kissing scenes in the palace if this entire scene on the boat was kept like for real I’ve been robbed and feel like a third wheel just watching it.

Yes I concur those little details are what needs to be paid attention to and taken into account like I said before a drama will only be great in your eyes and your eyes only. They’ve always mentioned endless future together

I actually choose the modern ending since Xiao duo did make a reference in episode 32 saying there’s no royalties and maid and servant. There’s another world with them in it some where. Plus, that modern ending was also put in one of the special trailer so it was hinted. I mean they kinda followed the book in their own way, at least she’s pregnant, I’d take that ending any day. I’m just glad they escaped, escaped to the modern world. I still love and appreciate this drama the acting was great everyone portrayed their role well.

Anyone here upset about the sword? That sword went through so much from killing many corrupt officials to being used as a skewer to being thrown in water at a brothel to scaling a fish and gutting it to always being placed under Xiao Duo’s pillow to being displayed at the window to being abandoned in fire. Even the ring was treated better 😂 sadness I’m feeling for a damn prop that’s how much of an impact this drama has been on me.
