I agree. For him to view her romantically, it should have at least taken a few more years, like when she’s 21-22 instead. That feels more natural, realistic and less hurried. He pursued her too fast.

I see that you are watching see you in my 19th life ...how it is ....becoz I really wanted to watch but couldn't…
it’s good, I only watched episode 1 till now and it is quite fast paced in the first episode, if you read the webtoon u will understand the references easily, but in my opinion I think it has been pulled off well and is an interesting show
this story reminds me of my mom and dad lol. my dad was my mom’s family friend and he knew her since elementary school. they are 8 years apart. he used to help around my mom’s house and her aunt(I think) knew him. my dad also used to tutor my mom, my aunt and uncle (her brother and sister) when she was in middle/high school while he was in college and working. later on, after my mom grew up 18-19, my dad sent marriage proposals through her aunt. she rejected him a few times though, but he still pursued her. later on, due to various circumstances, my mom accepted and she got married at 22 with my dad who was I guess 29 at the time, in 1995.
No, I totally get what you're saying. The progression of his feelings renders the first part of the drama kind…
Yess, you’re right. In the recent trailers we can see him being worried of how he would think of her now that he thinks of her that way. In ep 12 he said “what am I thinking? this kiddo..” so he is aware to an extent. I guess we can let it go slightly after witnessing this, but I would still prefer for him to take longer to process through it.
Ep. 13 Trailer: I like how he’s advertising himself to her carefully, and was at least worried about breaching their past original relationship. He didn’t want her to be weirded out by it. Lucky for him she’s always liked him in that sense, so it expectedly comes easily.

but if everything plays out in the drama slowly and properly, then I’m looking forward to how he treats her like a brother and lover at the same time. she can have the best of both worlds too. it’s not one or the other. besides, they wouldn’t forget their origins anyway, right?
Please excuse me for this rant, I really like this show, DJX and SZ, and their whole vibe together. It’s just so so cute. I REALLY LIKE THIS SHOW for its naturalness, pacing and modern, cute love story-telling. But I don’t want him to like her just because she’s an adult and she’s prettier like come on😭 (like I get it but he’s always been treating her as family like his sister?? i don’t want that to change so easily). Is it really just a coincidence JUST BECAUSE SHES LIKED HIM TOO? the author really played these tricks, but it’s just not as natural to me why he has to like her independent of her liking him. it’s just like a plot twist like not something expected from a guy like DJX who’s treated SZ like that. I totally get where her brother is coming from when he comes to hit DJX in the trailer. im not hating on Jiaxu I really like him. but this progression is just a bit odd to me. she shouldn’t have given up on him and tried to change his mindset herself instead of him changing his specs on her. if I were SZ and I never liked DJX (from djx point of view), only looking at him as a friendly older-brother like figure like how its been between us the whole time, I would find it weird if he started liking me along as I’m just hanging out with him to have a good time (but maybe it can get acceptable over time with new experiences). oh well. all dramas are fantasy-like to some extent and so is this one. this story, its characters, their relationships and their personalities are really charming. but this progression is a bit iffy. maybe because the drama is to the point and so it feels that way? I like it so much that’s why I want it to make sense and be more towards realism. how can he so easily abort his older brother-like considerate caring status just because he’s attracted to her as an adult, is odd to me. odd but acceptable because they’re adults anyway.
I have a question, in the story, does DJX fall in love with Sangzhi on his own while interacting with her as a…
unfortunately I wouldn’t prefer for that to happen :( I prefer their brother-sister connection cus he’s always looked out for her and considered her as family for a long time in his head (texting her on his own over 2 years, asking her brother how her life and grades are, picking up and dropping her in school and airport, etc.). I want them to end up together but not in the way where he likes her first :( or at least there should be a larger time gap between them..this story is very interesting to me with the sort of characters
I have a question, in the story, does DJX fall in love with Sangzhi on his own while interacting with her as a grown up or does she confess and then he starts getting such ideas?
