Yes but i felt that the kiss from kim was a bit rushed given how careful. I was expecting kim to reject chay and then tawan would kidnap him or smth and kim would rescue him, then again i havent read the novel. At the very least, im glad that they showed that scene of kim trying to write the song and struggling. I felt it reflected his conflicted state of mind. Then we he was finally able to write lyrics that symbolised that he was ready to accept chay despite his previous hesitation
Ngl Iām a bit anxious about how the story will progress from here because the show is hinting that the main leads could actually āmove onā from one another, a bit like in The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese. And seeing how non-expressive jiwoo is, the narrative might get tedious or will take a while to take off so Iām going to feel uneasy until we see them get closer again (thatās my anxiety speaking tho). Iām all for angst and realism (in fact I often really enjoy it like with Kinnporsche) but i get worried when characters truly appear to drift apart and show disinterest (especially as we donāt know why jiwoo left, even if heās still showing small signs of longing with the shirt + seo joon who might actually now try and move past his feelings). Like they say, the opposite of love is not hate, itās indifference.
To me, Kinn does believes in Porsche but because of the fact that theyāre still dating in secret, he still needs to treat Porsche like he would any other bodyguard to maintain fairness in front of everyone else.
Plus, he has the right to be cautious, heās being calm at it at that. If Porsche was really just another Tawan, heād be foolish just to blindly brush it off, so heās just going through the formal procedures, not because heās already made his verdict but to avoid causing any harm. Itās also a less biased way of giving himself the ability to prove Porscheās innocence. Killing two birds with one stone. Thatās what his father was complimenting him about too.
Problem is that Porsche is not as strategic in nature. He believes in what people show upfront, and doesnāt necessarily question or analyse potential ulterior motives. thatās what allows him to be so trusting, warm and open, for better or worse. So if Porsche is now losing hope that Kinn still has any trust in him, he might be tempted to run away with Vegas, knowing that he might get killed. Then again, Porscheās trust in Kinn isnāt that weak either, so if anything, if he were to run away with vegas, it would involve his brother in some way or Porsche would be fooled into thinking he could help make things better being free without realising it only makes things much worse.
