How'd the rating drop by 0.3 in the span of less than an hour?? Considering the quality of this drama and the amount of people loving it, this isn't logical.
Has anyone else noticed that the use of music in this drama is actually amazing? It's used very efficiently and accurately, not spammed every other minute. Most importantly, the instruments and songs all vibe so well; this may be the first drama where I like all of the songs.
I love the ethereal vibes of Shan Yichun's song and the Sa Dingding+Chen Lijun combo, Liu Yuning's song is great, and Cheng Yi's song is written by a lyricist who works with Jay Chou haha. I can't wait for the other songs to be released.

I think I'm going to be driven insane like Huai'an, but in a different way. Tell me why I find him so beautiful?? This drama isn't even focused on looks and the styling is not great no offense, but the look in XHA's eyes is so captivating. It's kinda scary (I have a very strong premonition I'll be traumatized by him) and incredibly hard to describe, I'm not going to even try right now.

Anyways, I knew Cheng Yi suits more mature and complex characters, but I didn't know he could perform the calm unhinged feeling of XHA this well. Good actors should be treasured, I hope they give him more close ups. All other actors are also doing a really great job! Let's continue this good pace.
I'm actually enjoying this drama a lot, I haven't fast forwarded anything, which is funny because I wasn't very interested when it was announced. Cheng Yi brought Xie Huai'an to life, though I can't really say that lol because Huai'an seems more like a grounded ghost. I really love this character, so cold, unhinged (hitting people with shovels haha), and unique, we don't see this kind of ghostly main character often in cdramas. Actually, I feel like all characters in this drama are pretty out of their minds, maybe not Bai Wan though, she's sooo cute like white snowy bunny.
The production is also pretty nice, some of the snowy scenes were the most beautiful I've ever seen. They make an interesting use out of lighting and negative space. Very atmospheric and edgy vibes.
One last thing, why is it rated 7.8 already?? It's so good???
