one time watch
I watched it from the start to the end. It was interesting and hilarious from episode 1 to 6 or 7, when Nok-du was still cross dressing as a female, and then from episode 8 to 16, the show just didn't seem as fun to watch anymore. I liked the way they shot their scenes though, and how every scene looked so nice. The all female elite Muwol corps were pretty cool as well.The main characters were cute, hence 3 stars, although the story made a bit no sense.
===========SPOILERS AHEAD=========
•The prophecy made no sense. The King's son will become King in the future. Duh? Isn't the throne usually passed on to the King's descendants (his son) after the King dies? What was the point of trying to kill his own son? Did the King think he was immortal?
• So it seemed like the King didn't start out as an incompetent King, but supposedly got too power hungry for no apparent reason, other than some subtle hint that was never fully explained on why his father, the previous King, who hated his guts and didn't want him to be King.
• I don't know what on earth Nok-du's brother was trying to accomplish throughout the entire show.
• The King, who was trying so hard to kill his son, didn't even bother checking the face of the corpse, making it seem like he intentionally didn't check because he wished his son was still alive. ???
I have many more questions, but I'll let it slide since the ending was a happy one (albeit a little unrealistically)

The narration, the acting, the plot, everything is very enjoyable and worth watching.
Fast paced exciting and honest series. Definite watch !!What I liked about this series is that it is using cliche topic in a new , honest and fresh manner. I just loved this concept.
Plot is nice. Both leads are good.
And what I like about the ML's character is that is has showcased in new light. For example typical South Korean series has a rich and cold male lead but he is different he is not that cold. He feels relatable.
About FL's character - I love that she is honest, she is completely aware of what she wants and doesn't feel guilt about her goal. Whatever the goal is.
Yeah, these are all the reasons why I am loving this Rom com.
Just go for it already.

Piece of life Genre...
It's funny and at the same time angst. The balance between comedy, mystery and crime is drawn very well. The characters are real and there is no flawless know-it-all hero or heroine here. This is such a beautiful drama . Truly a piece of life genre . Very simplistic drama , starts off as a regular drama . But with every passing episode it gets better , places where you get you feel and live every characteristic's view point. The characters development is dynamic!Not the typical romcom you'd expect ! But a very mind blowing drama! Highly recommended, a sweet worthwhile drama.

Story of 3 friends..
This drama is about three main characters and how their lives are intervened together which starts to unveil after an old typewriter is delivered to our writer main lead. It's such an amazing tightly written, attention-gripping, non-clichè drama. Though it has 2 different time periods, present day and 1930, it beautifully depicts the relationships between these three people and makes you realise how some people sacrifice their lives for their love, family and friends. It can make you laugh hard but also will make you cry hard. Even the cinematography and original soundtracks are beautiful and powerful... powerful enough to get engraved in your mind completely. It's not your typical rom-com with all fluffy scenes neither it's a science-fiction. I would call it a tale that stretches for eternity and depicts the relationship and struggles of these 3 friends beautifully ....Was this review helpful to you?
Mix of THRILLER, FANTASY, ROMANCE, COMEDY...
Despite the “flaws” that people mention, I loved this one, and it is one of my fav Kdrama. The two leads have such strong chemistry — unlike any other Kdrama I’ve ever watched. It was so beautiful to see how the two characters were constantly drawn to each other even with all the obstacles they faced. If you love a mix of thriller, romance, fantasty, and comedy, this one’s for u. Loved the whole concept, and I was constantly hooked. Hands down best kdrama of 2023 or to say best of all time (atleast in my opinion), It is an all-round show, telling us the story of a CODA (Child of deaf adults), which will make you laugh, cry, happy and sad all at their BEST. A show about a family, love, dream, passion, child-parents relation and those fluttering hearts at the age of 18 (With the addition of TIME-TRAVEL). All four main leads RyeoUn, Choi Hyunwook, Shin Eunsoo and Seol Inah were amazing in portraying the details of their characters.PS : Twinkling Watermelon ✨️🍉 has one of the most beautiful and pure love story with a historic confession, Most favourite CHAOTIC father-son duo, CALM-BEAUTIFUL mother-son duo in the world of kdramas!!!
HOPE this show reaches to larger audience so all can feel the joy and beautiful emotions with it 💝

lil boring to watch.
Very nice and sweet drama. I like the build up of the relationship between Moon Soo and Kang Doo. Lots of sad and crying moments. Only thing I didn't like was the character Jung Yoo Taek - found him and his storyline rather annoying. Also all the politics storyline I found rather boring and skipped most of it. The romance between the second leads was also meh. For the ending I would have liked to see all of them attend the opening of the memorial park. It would have been nice to see the actual thing after all the hard work and effort put in. (Don't worry... not a sad ending ;))Was this review helpful to you?

Tip - please do not stop watching- this drama started with slowburn romance. But everything will change after 15 episodes. Keep watching till the end and it will satisfy you to the max. No more game, Hot scene romance comedy all in one.Slowburn romance, healthy relationship and awesome story plot. The chemistry between Yang Yang and Dilriba is just on another level. Their intimate scene felt so genuine and makes you wonder if they are really in the relationship. Their visuals is crazy as well. Guys, please dont doubt and watch this drama. The ealier episodes go deeper in their career, games, ambitions and deep feeling. Mid to the end episode is the best of the best, full of romance and comedy yet still realistic, you will be smiling all the time and keep wanting more of their sweet romance. The best c-drama so far me. There’s no dragging and the plot were so smooth. Recommended. I wish there will be more YangDi pair project in future.
P/s: Those who give bad rating only watch few episodes and it’s too bad they missed out the best thing in c-drama. Good drama must have variance flow and realistic. And this is definitely one of it!

ML is the Bestest GREENFLAG of the Kdrama History
An absolute impeccable masterpiece. It is the best that kdramas offer. The entire crew and cast did a phenomenal job. It is by far my favorite series. The acting was brilliant and the writing was splendid. There were so many jaw-dropping and thrilling revelations/moments from the drama that could make you feel a range of emotions: contempt, sadness, empathy, anger and exasperation. So much was going on in each episode and each moment/scene was unraveled silently and calmly but yet full of suspense.The way the protagonist was treated was heartbreaking and you could only hope that she and all the other victims involved get the happiness and justice that they deserve. The story was unfolded unexpectantly. Although the revenge plan was an excellent one, outside circumstances take place to a level I did not expect.
All I am saying is that you will enjoy every moment of this series. It makes for a fun watch. You will gasp in astonishment with each revelation revealed.

MUST WATCH.
After a long time a aesthetic drama!!!🌌 If you are thinking whether to see this or not JUST WATCH THIS DRAMA RIGHT NOW!!! It attacked my fav lists. If you are looking a heartwarming, peaceful without any problematic plot type drama this is number one. It's funny, healing, I loved everything about it the storyline, the actors omg😍 (their chemistry is just overflowing and Im Siwan expressions are just soo uwwuu~🙈💕), ALL characters their thoughts and portrayal of true healthy relations, how it covers every aspect from family to profession to personal lives, I love how the FL takes stand and protect ML & encourages him to love himself and how they are so honest with each other and and and most importantly THE DIALOGUES AND THEIR DELIVERY whoever wrote the dialogues they have my heart!😇 I also love the second leads especially second FL. This drama is like a breathe of fresh air, a feeling you can enjoy without being bother. Time flies when I watch this the ost is also nice, it's calming.. so much soft feels that I can't say in words💗. It's sad that it's underated but again things like this are always underated that's the beauty of it. Shouldn't judge a drama by just 1st episode
This was worth it to watch it for around 16 hours ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The ending is also very satisfying.😊😇The Midnight Studio feels like Hotel Del Luna and I'm happy SK created a horror💀👻😈👿👽☠️ close to my Genre so I can relate better.
But I was really missing beak nam-gu in the ending scene where four of them were clicking photos. I really wanted him to be there with his wife. If he was there, it would be the most perfect ending on kdrama history.
This drama literally keeps me in a hype for every episodes, The storyline is unique , cute and with perfect level of emotions.

second lead love story is more interesting.
I had completed whole drama in 2 days .I will rate this drama 8.0 ratings because I was expecting more he can able to see all because he will say atleast once he want to see veronica park anyways the drama was interesting as soon as I was completing the episode what would be the next . Somewhere confusing but till enjoyed the drama. Second lead love story is much more interesting. Still ,Liked the 4 leading main Characters. Easy to watch & glad a lovely ending . One of the Worst Cdrama i ever watched.
Till the sixth episode I was confused why for such a good drama has this low rating but after I realized that this drama doesn’t deserve even 5 also. What I felt is before and after the ML’s head injury his character didn’t changed at all only difference is the memory loss. It is shown after the accident he becomes or remember only the character(grand tutor) he acted in his last drama but in that drama he (grand tutor)was a noble gentleman, descent and matured person but after the accident his attitude is exactly opposite to that grant tutor, he becomes mentally unstable person like jumping on the bed after seeing his mom or any strangers, I don’t whether the director wants to portray him like a child character but I felt like mentally unstable type. I really don’t know what’s there in the Chinese director’s head, when he saw his mom he starts to jumping in bed may be some excess current pass to his brain but for his mom it is an unbearable pain but here they given a funny background music like something fun is happening.How come a selective amnesia patient acts like a mentally retard person, not only during recovering from memory loss but also before the accident and after his recovery also.

An amazing drama that keeps you hooked till the end
Despites story line is simple and expected, the casting and filmography, and their acting were excellent. Better than I expected, scenes are not boring at all. The alliance between patagonist and hidden villians is actually fantasy as this really never happened in the real history but some characters are based on written history. If you like the Game of Throne and Korean historical political dramas then this is one to watch.Ji change wook, Jeon jeong so, Lee so hyuk and everyone else are at their finest in this. The thrill and perfection is every episode will have you literally jumping from excitement..

At first I was skeptical about watching this show. The number of reviews and overall score was not great. But I'm glad I didn't take those into consideration and watched this show anyway. It's such a light hearted, sweet and realistic show. Nobody is inherently bad, everyone is capable of being good and doing better. The story was beautifully executed, and I loved all the characters. I'm really glad I watched this. I easily found myself bingeing the show in 2 days. If you're confused, just go for it. Each episode had me hooked, curious to know more. The leads did a great job, so did the kids. I cried in the first episode, that's how well written and executed it was. Thankyou for making this show.
