Is the MDL ratings really dropping cuz of fans being upset of the possible endgame not being Baekdo??? Such a shame if it's true.... This drama ticks all the right boxes and deserves all the appreciation!

After loosing a bit of motivation to continue this show after I finished watching the middle episodes, surprisingly I kind of-sort of enjoyed the last two episodes (9 & 10). The pacing got better although the lack of even screentime was still very apparent. At least we got to see Joohee explode a little bit in ep 10 be it for the sake of Mijo's character development lol. We finally could see the dynamics between several characters which weren't well portrayed in the previous episodes. But the plot development is still the biggest problem here, so a bit too late for sudden fixes but I can live with it for a few more episodes. In conclusion, I definitely won't drop this and will watch this week's finale :)

Agreed. I personally think Song Kang should stick to action-ish ptojects and try to avoid romantic stuff for now. He was superb in Sweet Home

Anyone else feels like the last 4 or 5 episodes have made the story stale?? It was fairly decent up until the half way point. BUT the pacing of the story, annoying characters and their stupid choices and multiple weather technical terms (that u don't wanna hear over a weekend) made the speed up button seemed appealing. Although I'm highly doubtful, I guess I'm hoping the last 2 episodes could make up for it.

Just finished ep 7 & 8 and I can't help but to think if Kim Jinseok remembers that he has a son that he supposedly love lol. I get it, he wants to be with Chanyoung but like he doesn't even visit his old house anymore where his son lives. Not a big part of the story but it's just bothering me a bit

But ig as it is a proper supermarket now and not an owner-run store like the 1st season, the casts will surely be less intimate with their customers and are far more commercialized. But hey, at least we got amazing part timers and a barcode scanner on their cashier now lmao
