So why did Nokdu lead his men to a bloody civil war? Just to run away with her lover? So many soldiers and guards died :/ like why the f- did he do that. Really really unnecessary i feel like
Didn't know how this got 8.4 here. The last few episodes for me brought down my ratings. Would've been like an 8 but then it dropped to like 7 or 7.5. I thought Kang Tae Oh stole the show and the story was somewhat promising. Although the pacing and the climax were meh, it's just a good enough series. You won't miss anything by skipping this and you won't gain anything particularly amazing watching this.
I wasn't too keen on starting this series, but wow I was kinda blown away. An MDL score of 7.7 is definitely too underrated. It's a very warm and healing drama. Go check it out y'all!
Just a heartwarming story done right. Definitely not the most original plot but with great chemistry, realistic writing, and beautiful cinematography, it's worth the time.
I mean it wasn't that bad. It was a good enough drama with a decent idea but without proper directing and writing it became just a bit bland. I mostly enjoyed binging it (although it was 1.25x the speed most of the time). The acting was meh but ultimately the progression of the story became the hero and also the hinderer of the drama. It lacked depth and it seemed like there were too many coincidences. Also what's up with the second lead couple? they were forcefully matched by the writer(s). And I just can't with the underwater scenes, like why wasn't it shot underwater? Was it that hard to do? It looked so awkward. But in the end, it has all it needs for a supernatural being and a human relationship drama so it's a 7/10 for me
I'm watched 2 episodes and I got bored, don't know why... Everyone here seemed enjoyed watching this. Sadly I…
It's all down to preferences. For me at least, the story was engaging through out with a good combination of politics, comedy, and romance. Some scenes do tend to be dragged out, but the writing saved it for me. I have to say tho, the ending was just a bit expected. However these are all my opinion :)
I hate to say this but why do I feel like an 8 on MDL ratings seems way too good for me? I fell asleep like frequently.... idk maybe I'm just a bit harsh but a drama this boring shouldn't be 16 episodes long. Just a rant from me tho :/
Glad I watched this during the summer break, got me glued to my laptop. Finished it within 30 hours or so. Good delivery but with meh writing. 8 out of 10
Why are there so many negative reviews, I mean it was a pretty good watch. I enjoyed the movie, the pacing was good and the plot twist was so unexpected. The actors did what they have to do. This could've been an excellent movie if they were more emotionally engaged with the audience. But nevertheless I like it ☺️
God, I love Sweet & Sour so much. Soobin's character is everything in that movie. Love her potrayal of the 2 sides of Daeun. Just shows the acting versatility of Chae Soobin
