There are very mixed opinions about the show, so if you're not sure whether to watch it or not, here's my take (but don't take just my opinion for it):
The trailer did make it seem like the plot would be better. Some things took more time than they had to and in some moments I was just plain bored with the development. There were nice points that were made along the story, but it still had some room for improvement. Overall, it was okay. The romance, however, made up for it and gave us everything the plot didn't. First and Khao have such undeniable chemistry, the show seemed to be only about them every time they were interacting, and it only got better as the episodes went by. Akk and Ayan became one of my favorite couples ever, they got the development, the feelings, the intense staring at each other, the gay yearning, the sweetness, a very healthy relationship (after some time), GMMTV really hit jackpot by putting these actors together and giving them such a script.
I think anyone who is already into GMMTV shows or BLs should give it a try, just don't expect so much of the plot so there won't be any disappointments.
