The one thing i observed from the comment section that there is more toxicity in the comment section than drama itself.You are free to appreciate or criticise the drama,but you have no right to talk about people who like or dislike the drama,you are not a supreme leader and everyone have to follow your footsteps.

This is my pov,appart from those two scenes the drama is pretty much a good show,it showcases friendship between men, i am halfway through the drama and please give the drama a try,you won't be disappointed,it is far better than many overhyped c dramas.

Yes,if you consider mc as ml, Basically this drama is all about lar and her revenge due to her hardship,misery life,So inorder to get her revenge and to protect her dear ones is the theme of the drama,mc doesn't actively participate with her in her revenge soyou don't see many scenes together.

Apparently this is the behaviour, people are longing for,acc to them mz is a pure soul,only circumstances made him to do such act,still such acts can be considered an act of love and be tagged as chemistry. First time i am seeing a drama where a character is judged by his acting and looks,even such terrible things done by him are overlooked,same if done by another not so great actor,you would see he would be cursed head to toe.
This drama is all about LAR,and from what i can see her sufferings,hardship and misery only due to one character mz,i can never equate her sufferings with his form of love,and call it chemistry.

He was a murderer yet people take it lightly,imagine if he was just a plain abuser, people would go nuts and justify his abusive action as a token of love,a symbol of chemistry.
Mu Ze is a human trash not a complex anti-hero nor a good one gone bad yet the actor who plays him is charismatic…

A person forcing you to marry unless he will wipe out your close aid,and this is a form of love, because he told he will not touch fl when ready.Dont know how this writer wrote a character,which substance he consumed.

No,the plot in the mind which the writer wrote the drama was revenge,in the middle some weeds were consumed and the final results are here,many deleted scenes.
I guess mz getting sympathy mainly due to two reasons His outstanding acting in this drama. And his image from previous dramas,that being said the terrible things mz had done ,that should not be justified because of his upbringing,never,not even once,it sounds hypocritical how we curse characters over trivial matters and sympathise for the worst act any can do, because of acting,then there are many villian character who shined pretty much,why not support them instead. And I am glad that even after ruining the revenge type drama,the writer didn't took the route of eve, redemption arc?then in every dramas,there should be redemption arc, don't it seems bullshit? And lastly though mc hadn't done anything significant,i guess its due to lar and mc both,but i am astonished to see his character being tarnished and mz is uplifted by people,to show they are equal.wow!
