Omo! This is such a great reminder of how eveeyone's opinions differ. Not about the show, I agree it's hilarious…
Kdrama viewing in your own workplace - you make it sound...almost...appealing. Here's hoping you're allowed out of the house soon!

I keep expecting Yoo In Young to turn into an evil psycho, but maybe that's part of the subversion too πŸ˜‚. She's so lovely!

Seeing great reviews about this, literally learned of its existence 2 minutes ago. Gonna check it out
Well worth it if you enjoy gentle satire (of kdramas in general). Definitely not to be taken seriously.

This show genuinely makes me laugh so much, hopefully it continues to be this absurd and satyrical.
So agree with you. It's hilarious! Waiting to see how many drama tropes they can squeeze into each episode.

I agree with you but do still have some empathy for the mother. She has given up her life to raise their child,…
Well said!! The older couple are definitely a good representation of an unhealthy relationship.
And bravo to everyone commenting for being clear and kind, and not negative and nasty.

I agree she's a mess, but the presentation definitely portrays her in a very negative light. He also made no effort to regain her trust and work on the marriage. But we warm to him because we get to see all the good things in him. She however, is only single-faceted at this point

I feel like ep10 is all about the burdens women face in marriage - of keeping in-laws happy, of raising children, of supporting their husbands no matter what; whilst their husbands get to continue to make choices solely for themselves and their own interests. It is unfortunately still, a very realistic portrayal of reality. Perhaps Shi Woo is to be admired for committing to NOT burdening a woman with marriage

i honestly have not cared much about the forecaster uhm family storyline but that scene with his daughter today…
I agree with you but do still have some empathy for the mother. She has given up her life to raise their child, whilst he got to choose work over his family - she didn't have a choice She feels abandoned by her husband, and now feels at risk of her daughter abandoning her for him. It's reactive but understandable.
