Arghl, that new episode. I adore both Ishida and Mitsuya, both are such fun and fascinating men. While Mitsuya is a charismatic power house, Ishida is overflowing with charm and a certain sense of joy. Watching today's episode felt like we were watching the end of Act 1 to their story, and so next week Act 2 can begin. I just want them to find happiness with each other - and in a way a sense of "completeness", if that makes sense. <3

Ah, you don't watch it via tumblr. The posts contain the links to the RAW files (basically original video files) and the subtitle files. You download both files for each episode and put them in the same place on your computer. Then you open the video files with the VLC player and watch the episode. The subtitles should show up automatically then.
Oh you sweet, beautiful episode 8. ^^ I am so extremely charmed by Eito Konishi - even watched one of his other drama throughout last week - and it made me appreciate his ability of portraying characters that are just really kind and sweet people inside. And perhaps a bit quirky as well. :D The way Taishin turned up in his bird watcher outfit and was able to nerd out a bit over the birds that he loves. And right next to him Tanaka all suave and cool, just along for the date to find out more about what Taishin enjoys. I like that we get to watch them grow closer to each other throughout this dorama, moving ever closer to the things that connect them. Right now I feel very happy that we still have 3 episodes left of Taishin and Tanaka together <3

Oh man, when the outro started playing I couldn't help but cry a few tears. Although there weren't any major interactions between Ishida and Mitsuya that took place in this episode, it still felt so powerful and warm. And kind of raw. This is such a beautiful & special drama, and it feels so real. And Mitsuya, he is such a cool guy, I totally get why Ishida has fallen for him and why Noguchi wanted to "win" him back after leaving him behind ten years ago. Then at the end this image of Ishida standing in the gallery and Mitsuya watching him from behind and pondering. That truly hit me hard... I am so glad that we all get to experience this gem while it's airing in Japan <3

I don't understand the issue since both are just actors acting out a story. And even if the age of the actors mattered for their role, both are over the age of consent, so that should be alright as well. I know that it's your personal view so of course it's your own opinion that I don't wanna infringe upon.
I enjoy this drama a lot. It feels very different from anything that I have watched lately. I especially enjoy all the cute lil ideas that get added now and then - like the chat room of the writers being a table they all sit around. Also the fun costumes they are wearing. All the scenes between Shan and Ob-Un feel so pure and precious, the way they look at each other and interact. Watching the scenes of the novel within the show makes me wish for some pure fantasy and sword fighting BLs from Thailand.
Then at the end this image of Ishida standing in the gallery and Mitsuya watching him from behind and pondering. That truly hit me hard... I am so glad that we all get to experience this gem while it's airing in Japan <3
