Idk why but I love when shows have characters acknowledge when the mc randomly talks to themselves or goes on standby mode for an odd 30 seconds or so midway through a conversation while they have their flashbacks. It’s so immensely painful to watch but I think that’s probably the joy of it.

As someone with no context this is freaking hilarious

I love Dao so much... Disregarding the more morally grey aspects of her character, she's hilarious and her actor just has such great comedic timing (also she's absolutely stunning obviously, but I think we all got that)

I just assumed she's infertile but given the nature of the show it's possible there could be some wacky reason for it

I was kind of tentative about the series after reading most of the novel (which I was not a fan of), but if we get the aesthetics and cinematography that we see in the trailer I’ll probably watch it just for that tbh regardless of the writing/storyline

Not the kind of movie that you “like”, but that sticks with you for ages afterwards and grows on you over time. At least in my experience.

I don’t have much to say about this but I love the fact that “prosecutor female lead” is a legitimate tag on here

Favourite part of the episode was the look of absolute pain on Ings face while watching two guys alternating between halfheartedly throwing the ball around and arguing for what looked like around midday to sometime at night. For someone who is just a plot device she was really going through it.

Don't worry bro I know, obviously the narrative plays to the audience rather than the hypothetical characters that also occupy the world, so by saying "in real life" I really mean taking an imagined perspective of someone who wouldn't have that context. I would just see him as the dude that gets annoyed whenever other people get a chance with the ball.

Ngl I would probably heavily dislike Thorn if I knew him in real life. From my experience with team sports, people who get bitchy about not getting passed to all the time are the absolute worst :’}
