i love it when shots, lighting, color etc specify symbolisms, not just plain pretty landscape and lights

the only problem daon has is those two problematic ass people. remove them in his life and daon's life would improve 101%. seonghyeon is perceptive and sensitive on daon's feelings, seonghyeon is the manifestation of love daon deserves periodt. he needs stability and a constant, unlike from those two where one treated him well then proceeds to mock their social class disparity and leaves, and the latter whose care in his pov is unsure and eventually keeps him in arms length. real world contains different situations, there's no one type solution. best ending for people in the real world is when they dont regret their decision. daon wants to be with seonghyeon and he is scared that his broken self can hurt seonghyeon and seonghyeon acknowledges it. daon needs to stop playing martyr with the fear he'll burden seonghyeon, what's fair is not to decide for someone for their 'sake'. letting people love you is a way of loving them.

i just want to be nerdy about the cinematography but the dutch angle they frequently use never fails to assert discomfort and confusion. also when daon said no for the first time on jaemin's face, the pillar of the building in between them highlighted the growing gap between them. lastly, my favorite detail would be the last scene when the chest board got ruined when daon and jaemin fell, foreshadowing that jaemin's manipulating game is already crumbling.

Fr i was weirded as to why this man is kissing back coz it wouldve been fine if at least he didnt and it would make sense too that he's closing his eyes as if it's something scary to see but then he proceeds to hold on to suhyeon's collar to stop him and stupified to see their state in the reflection. Confusing

This aint a give and take business. Seonghyeon knows what he wants and only he can decide if someone is deserving of his love and attention. Not choosing Seonghyeon is only a losing game for both of them. Seonghyeon is much more stronger and has greater emotional capacity than any one of them. He handles his and Daon's emotions so well. I get that people think Daon should ‘heal first’ before being in a relationship, but life doesn’t work like that. Healing isnt linear, and love isn’t something only ‘fixed’ people deserve. If the latter understands the his lover's struggles and chooses to stay, that’s his decision. Relationships aint just about two perfect people coming together, theyre about growth, support, and understanding. Not every love story has to wait until both people have no baggage left✋🏻
