Shangjue does not really hate ziyu but more of like disapproval as ziyu has always been a carefree child. Yuanzhi on the other hand just follows around his gege so seeing him pressuring ziyu, he would also do. Plus he genuinely hates ziyu for not being able to hold a candle to his gege who is clearly more fitting to be the sword wielder at the moment. It's just that yuanzhi just doesnt see what shangjue's true intentions were

I just realized i havent rated this yet and i wouldve given this a 9/10 but minus 0.5 because they tore me apart with that ending
