It was going good I can see the yearning from both the sides at least .
But even after meeting 6 years man! its a freaking long time she has to be the one doing all the chasing work. I felt like I was watching one of those 2013-14 k dramas where ML used to do this idiocy shit. The chemistry is insane ,the acting was top notch even the pace never felt off to me but why it didn't have a single scene of him pursuing her .It wasn't realistic in my sense. Just imagine you like someone ,you date them for a week then you get separated from them for whole 6 years again?
and to make it worse everyone around you was lying about you .How I would be able to trust that person again even my family?
I love both of them but this only thing made me think I wont be able to re watch this because I wouldn't be able to watch her tears again. At first I as feeling bad for her but she was acting childish ,chasing him ,texting him, begging him after whatever she has been through.
Just imagine if the roles were reversed.
I watched Sniper butterfly before this and I Know of many of us did but in that FL reasoning was kind of justified because the difference was 10 years ! and she was also divorced before .Sorry if I disrespected anyone it was directed to the characters not actors .

I agree with this . I really liked LOTFG and was hooked to it but the FL during motivating dialogues felt cringe maybe because of her voice or her facial expression I dont know but I remember cringing many times . There was a scene during a battle when she starts crying thinking ML died I didn't like that . They tried to portrayed her strong but I just couldnt see her in that light .Before someone comes at me I shall remind you main reason I watched that because of her only I haven't Cheng Lei's drama before that .So I was disappointed by that . But in this even with the sweet voice FL is amazing and also appears strong its my first drama of her also and even chemistry here is good .Everything is nice .I am not hating anyone here its just my opinion .

I like Mei Zhuyu but not when it comes to his feelings towards Wu Zhen .I get all that palace rules but if you are not going to pursue it dont go around trying to make it look otherwise .Wu Zhen next day always forgets the indifferent behaviour of Mei Zhuyu she should atleast act a bit cold towards him also but she is so lovestruck she doesnt care I dont like when FL act like this . She should let Mei Zhuyu pursue her for once .But I will keep watching because I like them :!
