Based on episode 10 preview it seems that big mouse reveal won't happen yet, though it seems that he is going to warn Chang ho using mi ho I think, I think he will make her have a car accident using the same way as gong hi Hoon did to him before. Anyways the mayor now have a ticking bomb that could destroy the elder whenever he likes, if my guess is right, the mayor himself will report about the place he hid the gold and medical paper whenever the elder corner him later.

Iam back to suspecting that the mayor is the big mouse that explains why big mouse robbed Jo Hoon (lala bank) and maybe the mayor dragged him into this game from the beginning for this purpose. The reason is because he is hiding things from his own wife even though she knows about those papers too

The immediate pairing of two of commander Tan's people with the other two young lords is something planned upon by the script writer for the story to progress this way.. I also thought it was too much of a coincidence

My rating would be 9.5 or even 10 if the ending was better... To put it simply the selling point of this series was the amazing chemistry between our smart leads but in the end they salute the Jiang city as a new pivotal center for the revolutionary army?!? What the heck I was waiting for a timeskip with babies or something in Tan hometown but nah they came up with that ending.. well iam kinda glade commander Tan had a family reunion with his little sister it was a nice surprise but it wasn't what I really was waiting for anyways it's better than a sad ending..

I disagree... Whatever side commander Tan was in his uncle would seek revenge on him for his son he wasn't necessarily working for warlord Xu just that their end goal happened to be the same.. I think it was a rather smart move to switch to the revolutionary army side because it was so appearent Thay warlords gonna lose to them because they kept fighting among each other in the end weakening the current government while the revolutionary army was unified atleast...

Spectualations about th finale episodes of the series... Commander Tan's uncle is a traitor who works for warlord Xu appearently he is avenging his son death.. maybe his son worked for the Tan army and he died in battle.. anyways he get stapped near heart by a spear from the enemy soldiers but for sure that won't kill him as u can see from the ending song he has wraps around his left shoulder and he was on his knees on the ground crying about the tan army loses... I dunno weither marshal Xu will die or not but iam sure he gonna lose something important.. I think he planned on bombing the place as he did before when he got miss Gu brother killed .... If my guess is right commander Tan sends miss Tan( they already got married when that happened) to marshal Xu to send reinforcement... Warlord Xu assistant tried to interrupt that but he failed I think and marshal Xu went back with miss Tan to the city unfortunately his father didn't know and went ahead with bombing anyway karma got him only marshal Xu was innocent in all that which is unfortunately but I can go past it

Ep 31 and 32: they finally revealed everything that felt so long since the gab between episodes were long anyways just a tiny notice... The fake stepsister Gu death isn't confirmed yet.. I wouldn't be surprised if she showed up later with her face half burned from the explosion... Sigh this makes the ending more unpredictable hope my guesses are wrong

Even after they broke up she still cares about him and he also cares about her... If only it wasn't for circumstances they wouldn't have to go through this heartache... Well honestly it's better than losing each other forever as long as we get out happy ending I don't mind a temporary break up..

For whoever hesitant to watch this because of the fact that Miss Gu father killer commander Tan father.. rest assured that is a ploy by warlord Xu and the Japanese commerce big boss to tear apart our main couple... When commander Tan first found out about that fact in EP 29-30 he was seriously considering breaking up with her he even told her upfront when she kept bothering him.. if my guess is right he will find out about the truth later in EP 31-34 but he doesn't tell her to protect her from the enemy lurking in the dark I guess.. in early episode 35 he tells her everything and the reconciled and they get married at the same episode I think...

Only guys with slightly bad personality and tricks up to their sleeves deserve happiness in that era... The second male lead is just too innocent for his own good I wonder how did he survive till that day I guess he dad protected him all while.

I believe that a love triangle is formed only when one of it's corners isn't sure of his/her own feeling in this case the other two corners have chance to win but in this case Mu wanqing was so decisive that was one of many reason I liked her character as well

The charming point of this drama isn't the era setting but the plot itself... Basically there is no any common cliches that is been overused nowadays... And you get the best female lead you could ever ask for... She is smart enough to not be mislead by other people lies.. she is courage enough to confront any problem face off... She got a backbone and just follow the male lead by tail.. anyways she sets the goal that all other drama female leads should follow.. the same goes for the male lead at first episodes you might misunderstand him but stick a alittle bit more and you will come to love his character

There is barely any love triangle.. at the beginning it seemed that the female lead cared about the second male lead since he was a childhood friend and he protected her before but that is it.. she liked him as a brother only nothing further. But the second male lead liked her all on his own good thing when he found out that she likes the male lead he didn't make it harder for our main couple ... Also later on when something goes wrong for them he didn't try intervent and snatch her back he genuinely only want her to be happy anyways the second male lead is a good guy so there isn't real love triangle or anything

Iam kinda worried about Tan sister... Hopefully she is safe. I think commander Tan severed his ties with her to not implicate her after his fight with warlord Xu.

After all is over I remember seeing him bandaged on the sit he was injured and he was on his knees on the ground and many of his army was dead while some survivals of the army was standing behind him and Miss Mu was there too standing behind him....

Dunno for sure honestly even if he died on hands of his own father while protecting Miss Gu I won't feel too sad about it.. even tho he is innocent in all this.. but I loathe his passive attitude towards everything he lets his father control him everywhere...in this aspect marshal Pei is much better atleast he stand up to his father while trying to protect commander Tan.

Looking at episode 35-36 trailer this seems like a good ending so cheers 🥂 for that, unfortunately that was at all cost of sacrifice of the most lovable side characters you would ever see in Chinese drama they were true friend not jerks creating drama and misunderstandings for their selfish desires... Just wanted to point out how mature Actress Gu was in dealing with her own crush and even when commander Tan seemed vulnerable after he found out the truth about his father she didn't take the chance... Too bad she dies at episode 33-34 and soon after commander Tan right hand helper dies in the final climax battle while defending him ... In addition many of Tan army will die as well.. alright out of the depressing mode out couple solved their problems and got back together in episode 35 then even got married right in the same episode if iam not mistaken I think commander Tan lost his title already don't know how tho...

It seems the only she can do is get some insider information about Mu family... To find the location of the goods that commander Tan wanted to get the revolutionary army... Anyways she know that she is being used but she doesn't mind there is only revenge in her eyes... Tho honestly whatever she does I find that she is too innocent I mean her voice and character

Ep 31-32 trailer: the Fake little Miss Mu allied with the big boss of the Japanese commerce ( the one who commander Tan and Miss Mu crushed him utterly before) to take revenge for mother.. appearently tho the scale went too big and her plan could threaten whole Shanghai... At the same time warlord Xu is trying to find evidence that commander Tan collaborated the revolutionary army he event went as far as kidnapping the childhood actress of commander Tan and she died while escaping too ( I hope iam wrong but it's most likely) anyways through those two episodes Miss Mu was helping commander Tan in dark ( I think they are still giving cold shoulder to each other) but at episode 32 u can see the abandoned factory where Miss Mu was kidnapped by the Japanese commerce big boss but commander Tan saved her anyways we have 4 episodes left without misunderstanding between them so iam glad but I think there is going to be a big war soon so get rdy to see some unfortunate deaths I hope that commander Tan helper stay alive!!!!!
